35mm is far superior to the garbage being showing in D cinema today. The Hobbit was around 850p.

lol, I was laughing at the statement of "I can only THINK I hear a difference"... you've gone from holding an opinion on digital streaming (your choice of course) to just pure out lunacy and shady side show tactics.

and of course you're still siddling around the questions ...

Really, dude, read what you write before posting it. If your words were a gun you'd have blown off your leg by now.
We have has bit rate differences since Dolby digital And Dts emerged in theates. It carried over to home cinema on laser disc , DVD and no blu ray. The majority of people simply do not care.

And what ever happened to SONY 7.1?

Yeah I might become a member of a fishing forum, and like Pagemaster does here, proceed to tell those interested in the hobby that most people don't care about expensive fishing gear, and how the majority are happy with $20 rods and tackle

why? it's a technical term. you're the one who keeps mentioning how master audio (codecs ) are no different than DD and DTS for cinema (again codecs) .... sheesh,

lol, and the troll reveals himself. sorry but you've lost ALL credibility as you can tell by the other posters who have been responding to the bullsh!t you spew. sorry I'm calling you're bluff. you're full of sh!t.

the differences between lossy and lossless can be proved mathematically AND with double blind tests.....

somehow I doubt your allegations that "it's all in our heads" CAN be

Cool.

But seriously, I know a lot of you love this hobby and my views are opposite. I still do love blu ray and the quality it presents. I hope I haven't offended

Good point, however a car with higher/more horsepower does not always get to 60mph faster than one with less. There are different factors involved

35mm has had a format war for 20 years, Dts in the cinema was approx four times the bit rate than the standard Dolby Digital.

It made no difference them, and it makes none now
