What's a good option if you like a film but don't want to spend $30 to own it (my countries prices are outrageous) Renting where I am is ridiculous they want about $12 for a new release 1 night rental and $8 for a weekly film (usually been out longer than 8 months).

Well, considering how virtually no one is saying the same thing, it is the definition of original really Rick.

Yes, 10 years is appropriate. My collection is growing but it doesn't alter my views of where we could be. Hope to goodness the big screen is still going strong after that time. It's more the distant future that concerns me because I am still young enough to be affected by it.

Most titles will not be released on UHD Blu-Ray and 4k streaming is not the same quality as a physical Blu-ray disc (plus all the other caveats that come with streaming). Also, if one prefers downloads then they are on the wrong forum - people are here because they collect blu-ray disc and physical media in general, I can't see the posters of this forum selling off their collections for 4k downloads (if they exist for the majority of their collection at all).
