This is getting a Dolby Vision grade by Siggy Ferstl at Company 3, and an Atmos soundtrack with music by M83. Not sure if it's getting a Dolby Cinema release, but hopefully it will get a UHD blu-ray release.

Got word from the DP of Justice League. The 35mm elements of Justice League were all 4K scanned. No final word on the DI. At least it's 4K scanned.

Once there is more news, I will share it here.

Are there any 65mm/imax scenes, and were they scanned at 4k or higher?

No 65mm was used. Everything was shot on 35mm, except for the helicopters aerial shots.

I did ask him earlier today if there are special IMAX scenes, as there were Open Matte screenshots/behind the scenes photos. Waiting on a reply on that.

I also asked on 1.85:1 aspect ratio:

The aspect ratio was a combination of Zack wanting to try something different and us taking about how we can set the movie apart from other superhero films.
I like how the 1:185 works and the frame it gives and I think it was the right choice

I shot full frame open gate 35mm so the imax will originate from that

For the face, you could be tested as to a precursor to that (Dolby lab has a thermal imaging camera for tracking temp. changes on the face).
