I realize it's not your place to say, but it gives me hope that Scream might also have some other titles previously thought to no longer be with SC, such as Theater of Death, Twisted Nerve, Bluebeard and I Monster (as long as we get them from someone I'm happy).
According to Scream! Factory's FB announcement for The Final Programme, this title was originally released in the US by New World...so maybe they acquired it thru their purchase of the New World library and not via StudioCanal?

Wow this was unexpected. Was this part of the Universal deal? I thought they had the original elements.

New World released the edited version retitled The Last Days of Man on Earth. I don't think they ever had the rights to The Final Programme version. In the VHS days, both versions were released simultaneously, New World's TLDOMOE by Embassy Video, and the uncut version TFP by Thorn-EMI Video.

Sorry for going off-topic again, as this should be in the Shout thread.

Glad the films got a physical HD release, and they are not stopping production with the demand being super high (i.e as though a limited QTY was set and they refuse to make more).

They have been cranking out a ton of titles, which is great. Those that want them have the opportunityh to buy them. The ones that sell poorly end up being a limited production.

Some titles they put out I'm shocked ever saw the light of day.

It still sucks that they are putting "200-300" titles on moratorium. The problem with them releasing so many titles is that not everyone can keep up with all of the titles being released and now there will be a mad scramble as people with the means to do so will snap up as many as they can before they sell out.

This brings up a question - KLI, will you be able to keep us posted about quantities? As those titles get down to, say, their last 100 copies, or something like that? (I totally understand if not, just hoping you can, so that people get one last round of notice if they do want them but have been holding off for whatever reason.)

Wonderful news! Will this be the 158min North American theatrical edit or the full-length 175min European edit?

The Cariboo Trail and Canadian Pacific were from our Ignite deal. The Manhattan Project was from one of our MGM deals. Scavenger Hunt was acquired from the Melvin Simon library. The Fox list I shared with everyone is complete.

Most of the films have been available for 4 to 5 years and will still be available while quantities last or when they expire in a year or two.

If you haven't bought it yet and do not pick it up before it goes on moratorium, you have no one to blame, but yourself.

The November sale will only include moratorium titles, so we'll see how that goes before sharing quantities with everyone.
