KL Insider,

If you're allowed to answer this, are any of the 3 former Twilight Time titles you have in the new MGM deal ones Kino previously released on DVD. Thanks again!

Gotta hand it to KL Insider for hanging out on the forum to answer a barrage of questions. Who else does that?
No one.

Well, that's disappointing... I'm that type of person who geeks out over actor/actress/franchise sets.

Didn't know you weren't doing that. Either way, crossing my fingers for some spaghetti westerns, especially the Hill Run Red.

Hi KL Insider,

You answered yes, so would one title be Hound of the Baskervilles?

Thanks!

It looks like it might be your lucky day. I've never seen the film in question, but your taste in film is trustworthy, so it's a title I'll be picking up for sure if Kino has it.

It's basically the lost Walter Hill/John Carpenter flick from that era.

Would be beyond ecstatic if we got this.

Yikes! I hate to hear that about the Durbin set. It won’t affect the other two volumes being released, will it?

I have a question for Kino:

Is the commentary with Jennie Linden, Roberta Tovey, and Jonathan Sothcott still set to be included for Dr. Who and The Daleks?

I’ve love to see a Kino UHD of PLANET OF THE VAMPIRES, but if RUNAWAY TRAIN isn’t big enough then...

Gary, I'm not directing this specifically at you, my friend, just offering some food for thought ...

Whoa! Good God, the first Durbin set was only released 60 days ago ... right in the middle of the Twilight Time liquidation sale and when people were allocating funds for the semi-annual Barnes & Noble Criterion sale. It might also be noted that there's a pandemic going on ... one that has devastated the economy, leaving many folks jobless. Under the circumstances, what were the sales forecasts versus actual sales, and how accurate were the forecasts to begin with? (Those questions are rhetorical.)

I spent over $350 during the sale last month, but even so, I've still got almost over 70 titles on my KL wishlist. I had to prioritize what to buy and what to wait on, and I would imagine most people on this board did, too. (That said, I did buy every one of the box sets available during the sale.) I hope KL isn't assuming that all those individual titles I left behind are dogs just because I couldn't afford to snatch them up all at once ...
