The Casino Royale theme!!

...although the X-Files theme is stuck in my head, weird (considering I never did or do watch it)

Knight Rider

anything by Hans Zimmer
Moby's theme from The Saint

Probably not considered theme, but the music in the end sequence of The Good The Bad The Ugly!

Thomas Newman is probably my favorite American film composer of the last
decade or so. His scores/themes to Road to Perdition, American Beauty, and The Horse Whisperer are absolute masterpieces. It's a crime that he hasn't won an Oscar. Meet Joe Black, The Shawshank Redemption......the list goes on with him.

Aside from Newman, my best all around scores since 2000:
Zimmer's Gladiator score
Newton-Howard's score to The Village,
Mansell's Requiem For A Dream score
Yann Tiersen's score to Amelie

I could go on for a while, but those are among my top. I highly recommend those to anyone that likes film scores or classical.

I'd say, off the top of my head:

The Vangelis score from Blade Runner ranks up there for me (the song at the opening is one of my favorites)
The Zimmer score with Lisa Gerrard from Gladiator is another of my favorites
Some of the score of Kingdom of Heaven is quite terrific (like the song that plays right at the opening scene)
The theme from Man on Fire (also with Lisa Gerrard) is another of my favorites
2001's Thus Spake Zarathustra is pretty excellent too!

I'm curious about the Requiem for a Dream score now... I have the movie but I haven't watched in a long time and don't recall anything about the soundtrack.

Mansell's score makes the movie for me. The predominant soundtrack is basically Mansell + The Kronos Quartet, and you can't really go wrong with that. The chamber music just fits perfectly with the whole mood of the movie.

SUPERMAN is not getting the love that it deserves in this thread!!!

That is the only title theme song that, to this day, swells me with a flood of emotion within the first impossibly mistakable 6 notes.

Batman (Elfman) I'm also a fan of the Adam West Batman theme
Indiana Jones
Most anything Star Wars
Terminator
Ghostbusters

I also really enjoy the score for Pride and Prejudice with Keira

And then there are of course some classic cartoon theme songs which are awesome too.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Spider-man (1967)

The main titles from Band of Brothers really evokes the sense of selfless heroism that pervades the series.

"Into the West" and "The Return of the King" from LOTR: ROTK are also extremely effectively used in their brief "appearances" in the movie.

You're referring to a great musician

I really like the Pirates of the Caribbean theme (and score overall). Hans Zimmer is amazing! I also love his theme for Crimson Tide!

The "Launch" theme in Armageddon is pretty awesome as well.

The LOTR themes are amazing as well, and Star Wars, Indy and Bond of course!

Gotta second the earlier post about Man From Snowy River! That one is very special and very nostalgic for me!

I really liked the Narnia music they did, especially "The Battle."

The Harry Potter theme, while simple, is perfectly suited to the story and instantly recognizable!

There's many more obviously but I'm getting a little long winded so I'll stop.

Try humming the main themes for Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Superman consecutively. It's really hard!

Not knocking any of these themes, or the great John Williams, it's just kinda funny how similar they are.

If you think the Metal Gear Solid 2 theme is awesome, I just saw it live! Video Games Live is awesome.

Anywho, my favorite theme is the A-Team, if you don't like that theme song then you suck.
