You still have to time price match it. I went there today and price matched it to 199, purchased a few more 4k blu rays with the difference. I purchased it last week, knowing they would have a sale for memorial day. Elite members get 30 days return and price match guarantee. I think others get 14 days to do so.

We haven't received the Dolby Vision firmware update yet. It will come eventually, but I do have one concern:
When I bought this 4K player I owned the Sony 900F which was due to receive a DV update soon and I had little concern that DV wouldn't work once both units received their firmware updates. Since then I have returned my 900F and replaced it with the LG B7A OLED TV. Do I have any reason to be concerned that DV may not work with my LG TV given Sony's thus far very spotty history with DV. |

oppo's not making players anymore, I wonder if they really care.
![]() now that this appears to have the DV update, I have something else to think about. I want a second DV capable player and I already have the Philips in the bedroom. if the reviews on the DV capability (and the overall player reviews) are good, maybe i'll give this Sony a shot. ![]() |

Some observations from petetherock (AVS)
Q. (elwaylite/gadgtfreek) Are you able to enable DV and disable it? Meaning can you turn DV off and play a DV disc and it sends HDR10?
Sorry Bud, the USA side is changing roles, not disappearing. Last edited by JohnAV; 05-31-2018 at 05:00 PM. |

Now I do have a real question for people that update whether it is working correctly with the various displays?
Why because of these two posts Quote:
