Tinfoil hat? ^

"Gemini Man boasted 120 fps, even if only 14 theaters in North America could show the film in that format. Yes, 1,400 theaters offered higher frame rate projection, but for most folks, it was either 60fps or conventional 24 fps. This may have backfired as folks were either scared off by the “this looks like I’m looking out a window” resolution or were unable to find a convenient theater showing it as such and stayed home. After all, when all the talk about The Walk discusses its “must-see this in IMAX” value and you can’t get to an IMAX theater to see it, well, why bother? Moreover, say what you will about its terrific 3-D work, but domestic audiences haven’t been overly jazzed about 3-D in years."

In order for the best film technology (3D, HFR, HDR, HLG, OLED, ...) to take off the $$$ backer has to be there too.
It has to sell, to be avail to the masses, the promotional adds, to be seen with our own eyes onscreen, to be extraordinary, to be out of this world as we know it, to be on Instagram with the selfies from the influencers, to be paid for, the New best movie trend with car chases, jets flying @ twenty times the speed of light, to rocket ship to Jupiter and Saturn, to free jump from the Sun and the Moon, to orbit around Pluto and Venus, to be filled with one billion cars, million dollars views, without wearing bikinis.

And there were no conspiracy theories nor mind control. The consensus of the crew was that no matter the film location, it was a happy work environment with local off set perks and everyone was honored to have worked on a motion picture having such a great heritage with memorable scenes like this (for continuity), –

and with understanding that Paramount, the producers and US Navy spent over 5 years developing the script for the sequel. The attention to detail is rather extraordinary even down to things like light fixtures and door knobs, not to mention patches, stickers, etc.

On my device in the photo he appears to have an aluminum saucer above his head, that's all. Would you like me to take a snapshot to prove it? That was simple realistic good humor from my device's angle Penton, I can assure you with total confidence.

Me too I think Maverick is going to be a huge success.
