Yes I could not either. Go to where it says on digital code paper. wb.com/redeemmovie. It will take you to Vudu. At least it took me there after I put in the code. I was able to claim it there. I have Vudu and Movies anywhere connected. It showed up in all the services I have linked right away -Fandango, Google, itunes, Movies anywhere Vudu, windows and youtube. It's ultraviolet that went out of business not Movies Anywhere.

So pissed. After dinner i swung by target to grab this to watch tonight and none of the targets near me have it. It was too late to go to best buy. Really wanted to watch this tonight.

I picked this up tonight. I'm watching the blu ray now and I think it looks great. One thing I am pretty bummed about though is the exclusion of the awesome theatrical teaser that was on the previous blu ray. I love that teaser mostly because of the haunting music that's not in the film.

Still need to watch this, glad to hear it looks great. I went with the regular 4K slip since I thought it looked much better than the steelbook.

Watched my copy earlier today. Excellent video quality. I kept getting caught being impressed by the level of detail instead of paying attention to the film lol. Audio quality was satisfactory but I would have liked to hear an Atmos mix. Overall, I wasn't wowed as I was with 2001 but the Shining is one of my favorite Kubrick films so a bit more excited for it. Anyways, bummer about lack of Atmos but loved the video quality.

Hello!

I know this is the 4K forum but can anyone tell me if they think the audio is slightly out of sync on the blu-ray that comes in this set? I watched my blu-ray the other evening, still have’t got a 4K player, and the audio appeared marginally out of sync to me. I have the UK edition. Maybe it’s my ancient toshiba player?

Any help appreciated!

I mean I don't think I would have noticed those without that video, do you ?

also most aren't that different maybe a 1 sec delay in overlap
think Jack axe door scene was biggest difference, but again the music still works the way it is
and the ext frequency range I prefer over mono
all tracks and effects have much better LFE and frequency range so technically they do sound better,
I heard things in the original music tracks much clearer than ever before and it made it the whole experience even better for me

if Second Sight or Synapse where doing this they'd prob be able to get a lot more right than WB's and that's a shame for me too
still while not being 100% accurate it's still the best it's ever looked and sounded imo

The 5.1 mix in the UHD+BD edition is the same old 5.1 remix. This is not how The Shining should sound. You can find the original mono at FanRes forum if you want to sync it to the new edition.

To save me reading 164 pages. Is the UK release the same cut and 4K disc as the US release? Would prefer to buy from the UK if there is no reason I shouldnt.

I didn't notice any sync issues at all and I was looking because I thought I remembered someone else saying the audio was out of sync. Not sure what release they were referring to though.
