A pet peeve of mine is updating the studio logos on old films. The WB logo on this release is the current one whereas in 1980 it was the red and black one. What's even more annoying is that in "Room 237" the audience in the theater is seeing the older one.

Original ending credits with blue letters restored
Missing ending bit with Wendy, Danny and Ullman at the hospital found and restored

Reality: Existing disc reissued with even worse anniversary art

For the titles that have already been released on UHD, IMO all that list likely means is that there's an anniversary for whatever movie coming, which Warner's PR department does all throughout the year, even if there's no corresponding brand new physical release. It doesn't mean there's a new disc happening necessarily if Warner already released it...I mean THE COLOR PURPLE is on there and it was released several months ago.

I would love the mono track for archival purposes, but to be honest I love the DTS-MA 5.1 track. It sounds fantastic. A new transfer would be nice if it improves things, but I didn't really have a problem with the existing 4k Blu-rays transfer.

What I would like to get is a UK Film Vault release of The Shining. Earlier, I picked up the only two releases that I really liked, Blade Runner and 2001: A Space Odyssey.

I would love to add The Shining Film Vault to my collection.

Same. I'm international so I grew up with the international cut. I read somewhere that it was Kubrick's favorite cut too, not sure if it's true.

I grew up with the U.S. cut. Can you tell me the differences and why the international cut might be better?

What is the issue with the current UHD master and encode? It’s one of my favorite discs and I think it looks stunning.
