This movie has terrible acting. The theater I saw it in when it first opened in 1954 just started laughing at everything. Wish I would have seen Friday the 13th instead.

Don’t waste your time with this 4K release.

Which movie from 1954? You sure you are in the right Exorcist thread?

Why are people writing about The Exorcist in The Shining thread? Am I missing something?

So it looks like this is a standard release in the sense of no boxset/bits and bobs inside like 2001?

I wonder if we'll get a steel?

Don't ask it will hurt their feelings. They're special. They can't shine

The Shining is from 1980.
The Exorcist is from 1973.
Demetrius and the Gladiators is from 1954, the sequel to The Robe.

Lots of exorcism in those shining sandals. Ya, give me that Steel.

Also remember Jack was “intrigued “ by the story of the former caretaker......was having trouble trying to find something to write about........thats where he got the idea to write “The Shining”

Hope I explained this coherently....
Except that the first time Danny sees the twins is in the game room on their first day there. Way before jack started writing anything

He sees blood and the twins at their home as well, causing him to pass out.
