Nope, my copy does not have that dent, it only as the one on the bottom right corner by the certificate rating. This however is not a defect.

Mine arrived as well today and I have the infamous indentation on the lower right. I don't have the spot that you mentioned xradman, but I do have a tiny dent on the edge where it opens. I consider myself lucky that that's the ONLY Damage the Steel suffered thanks to that lousy packaging.

I highly doubt I will order from them again (atleast until the next exclusive Steelbook comes out)

It's pretty dang subtle. I didn't see it on my first 3 look. It wasn't until I had it under a bright light that I saw it. But once you know it's there, you can see it from across the room. (not really, but you know what I mean

Got both of mine yesterday and today. Horribly packed, flimsy thin carboard boxing, and one was even semi opened,BUT thank the steel gods no dings or dents.

Thats common packaging used by hmv, most people dont complain about minor dents like this group thats why they dont put any extra effort into it. The average jow buys it for the movie and is done with it

The packaging does give you a bit of pause and trepidation when you get it, but I'm a results guy so I was happy and didn't care once I saw it had no dents...I've received extremely well packed ones from other sellers but full of dents

P.S. ...yes, +1,000 on the defect

Mine came today -- wife is picking it up from our apt. offices on her way home in a few.

Will edit when I find out what kind of shape it's in, but I can't help but feel nervous.

::Crap! Got packages I wasn't expecting. Maybe it will get here on Monday. :P
