It is indeed a funny business.

Warning – there is some *graphic* language but, probably no more so though than is routinely expressed on some of the more wild and wooly AV forums …

That was pretty funny, although I doubt Stacey will not appreciate the slandering of his Red One

I do love the Cinematographers last comment though You can read what's going on in his mind..."Do I make a stand for what's right or do I put food on my table and pay my mortgage?"

Shark, now I see what you were referring to with your one word “Kwai” in that previous post, as The Bridge on the River Kwai is a News item today on the front page.

Like I said, sorry, I don’t divulge release dates.
heh, was being somewhat cryptic, and thought I'd post in your thread given that you'd mentioned it months ago.

FWIW, it wasn't up here yet, I read it at the 'Bits and I'm still not sure what the crosslinking policies are re: BD/DVD sites. I'd assume linking to Bill would be Kosher, but I've been in trouble before.

Well, it's not like in Colombia where they get shot coming off the plane, but if this is true, I'm sad that I'm not surprised:

Well, actually I was looking to screen an available print it and you were indeed very helpful, now if the cinema where we wanted to screen it would finally give its OK

Later I purchased this movie on LD, then again on DVD, and finally had the chance to watch it properly shown in its native German with English subtitles. I'd love to have it on blu to upgrade my 1997 DVD. Unfortunately, except for a rumored German release, I've read nothing else about it.
Let’s put it this way. Don’t expect any accurate Amazon pre-order page to be listed for that particular title in the near future.

I’m convinced you posted that link to lure me into viewing more of Larissa on the far right under “World Cup 2010 Sexiest, Strangest Moments. Thank you.

Hey, did you hear that Thierry Henri (former Arsenal star) has officially entered the twilight of his career with his move from the Spanish league?

I guess you really need to have an old school Theater like this (check near the bottom of the page, either May 23 or May 30, I get these epics all confused)….

Believe me, that clip is mild in regards to the Red One. The colorist for 'Open Range' posted this one back in mid-July with an insight as to dealing with some Indie Producers….
http://www.xtranormal.com/watch/6807847/

Not to worry though, I’ve never known Stacey as one of the Red fanatics,...he’s always been level-headed even during the format war, so, these clips shouldn’t bother him.

Yeah, we were rumbling months ago about his move to NY. I think the Doc and I were joking about it pre-tourny.

Here, the ultimate link for you (NSFW)

I'm starting to thing she might actually have real, not "DNR'd" boobs. Huh.

Penton,

Watched "The Damned United" last night. The first act was a little slow, but once it got going I really enjoyed it. Man, Brian Clough was one cocky SOB, but his results were pretty darn impressive.

I hope you're kidding on that one. A simple Google Image search (make sure "safe search" is off) brings up all sorts of plastic fakery...

According to this site:

http://www.areadvd.de/news/2010/08/0...-blu-ray-disc/

"Eurovideo plans to release "Das Boot" on Blu-Ray disc in October. The "Director’s Cut" with 208 minutes runtime is planned to come with a new HD scan, DTS-HD Master Audio sound and partly new bonus material, on 14th of October."

Yep, that would be cool! In fact we have many nice movie theatres in Berlin but none of them are really up to showing those old school epics. As I am not really up to opening a cinema myself one can just try to push an owner or two in the right direction.
