The Solar Sailer is part of wave two of the toys. It is really getting hard to find a Kevin Flynn. I bought the last one at Toys R Us after Target sold out - and they had a bunch just the week prior!

Meanwhile, Flynn's white Lightcycle sits on the shelf. I don't understand it. The new Lightcycles look great in the movie, but suck as toys. Flynn's Lightcycle looks awesome in both worlds. Get one while you can.

I haven't seen the original and Daft Punk's soundtrack is the main reason why I want to see Legacy, which I'll probably do already on the opening day... Anyways, I just "bought" tickets for free 25-minute previews next Thursday.

There's such a part of me that wants to see this movie...but looking at that poster makes me not want to bother ... No originality, just taken directly from poster art of the original film .

And honestly, who cares about the new no-names starring in the film? Where's Bridges & Boxleitner?!

It looks like Jeff Bridges has a decent role in this one. I hope Bruce Boxleitner has more than a cameo.

Me too...I mean, how can you call the film "Tron: Legacy," without Tron (Boxleitner) having some sort of serious role? If he's only going to have a brief cameo, they should've just called it "Beyond Tron" or something like that.

Depends on how you view it. I tend to look at that poster as an homage to the 1982 original, tantalizing Fans with brief snippets of the familiar universe. Beautiful Olivia Wilde aside, I like the slight hint of those giant guardians that patrolled the boundaries of the original circuit board ...My appetite is growing

Yeah, I mean, if it's an all-new character and the teen's the hero, why not just call it Son of Tron, or Tron: the Next Generation, or Legacy of Tron, or...wait a sec.

I'll agree with you that some of the background art looks cool ...

Yeah, I feel it fair to say at this point, a considerable amount of my concern for this new film is in direct correlation with my viewing experience of "2010: The Year We Make Contact." I do NOT want "Tron: Legacy" to be to "Tron," what "2010" was to "2001." But I have this eerie feeling that it will be just that...That "Legacy" won't be, by any means, a terrible movie in it's own right, but that in my viewing it, some of the sensational 'magic' of the original will be stripped away forever.

To this day, I still wish I could erase "2010" from my memory, and if I could go back, I'd have never bothered seeing it...I don't care to feel the same way about this one. The original "Tron," like "2001," is one of those exceptionally rare 'gems' that doesn't deserve (or need) to be screwed with. And if it's going to be messed with, it'd better be done perfectly. And I can already tell right now, from having seen the trailers, and just by looking at those two actors on the poster, that no matter how great the special effects are, there's no way this film is going to even come close to living up to the magnificence of the original...

Man, I'm looking forward to this one coming out. I'll have to see it in 2D as I can't watch 3D without getting sick. Even so it should be great .

Well, was trying to make the point that if you know what "Legacy" means, you have some idea of why they ultimately picked that over "Tron 2.0" or "TR2N", etc., from back when all they had was the

Back when we got that first ComiCon teaser, they were just bluffing on empty concept art.

Actually I have absolutely blacklisted any trailers or web hype surrounding Tron, save for a Lightcycle sequence released about a year ago and a brief snippet of Daft Punk's soundtrack and of course the main poster here..

I haven't been to a movie this year that has displayed the main trailer.

I can understand your sentiment mate,but I was fairly reassured when I learned that the director of Withnail&I was assigned as director.Maybe he will fit in with the quirkyness of the Tron universe

Sad to discover that the Tron BD has been delayed,but think I'll get the double-pack when it gets released next year-unless legacy proves a stinker.Bring on christmas.BTW KDO:Seen Social network yet?How did you find it?Gonna see it sunday.High hopes for that one.
