Most people forgive lameness when nostalgia over powers it. Thus I am sure this film will never win out over its predecessor. Even if it is superior in every way. I am sure they are both exactly the same ... in the lameness script department.

In the end ... just don't go in expecting an amazing script. I'm not.

Well, for those of you that wanted this flick to have a more adult rating, there already is an adult xxx parody of the the upcoming movie titled 'Pron'.

The Sci-Fi blog/website io9 has had a few articles and naughty links about it already.

Keep in mind that this is Devin Faraci, the man who hates almost anything with a massive fanbase. The same guy who gave Avatar a decent rating, then would go on multiple tirades about why it's a failure, and argue with fans of the film in an "I'm right, you're wrong and stupid" attitude. He's the king of all snark and snootiness.

And as I pointed out, he mentions there were people talking positively about the movie, but then never goes in depth about it and only focuses on what "people" don't like about it. I think he just wants this to fail

I purchased my midnight ticket a week or so back. I saw the 20 minute sneak peak and it looked good. I loved the original and am hoping that this one will at least provide an AWESOME visual experience.

It means it's tracking to gross in the low 30 millions opening weekend at the domestic box office. I don't know how that is so hard to figure out. A bit condescending much?

These trackings are posted by multiple users on that forum in the box office threads for years and they are usually close, but not always and a lot of people believe it because of that. You don't have to take them to seriously they are just tracking numbers. I guess RS is a good source....? Dude, I'm only posting on what I read. That is all.
