About the soundtrack:

The U.S. version is only 1 cd.

All this predicted cash flow is meaningless. The economy could tank again, more severely, the weekend before and dash all hopes of ever seeing a profit in this decade.

Case in point. I have to make up the numbers for lack of actual numbers.

Shrek II (or was it III?) was expected to have something on the scale of a $300 million dollar opening weekend. It fell short by about 10 to 20 million. That is a large short fall, but considering most movies never SEE $300 million at the box office for the entire run - it was a run away success.

I saw Mike Meyes on an interview and he mentioned how the execs will see the movie as a failure due to that short coming. Here is a guy who has earned these people hundreds of millions with an instantly loveble and classic character. Yet, is lamenting the opinion of financial meat heads who only see the dollar value.

Sure, movies are for making money - not history, in the opinion of some. But c'mon. Smile, say "close enough" and celebrate the success.

A few years ago my job was seeing record profits. More than they have seen any other year. Yet, we were falling short of those "sacred predictions" and they were crying about cutting back, and cutting overtime as a result. We have a new GM since that time. The new mind set is anything that comes close to plan in these economic times is a job well done.

As long as Legacy doesn't leave Disney in a financial "black hole" stop whining that the money isn't coming in fast enough. The movie industry is the only industry I know that can turn huge profits in a few weeks over the investment. Relax already!

A limited number of tickets will be offered each day through Dec. 12.

I'm so glad the big Rave theater here finally got an IMAX screen. My first ever IMAX screening was The Deathly Hallows and it was awesome. They showed the lastest trailer for this and just the audio from it blew me away. Unless this just gets canned in the reviews, I'm going to be there opening night for an IMAX 3D viewing!

...I must've missed the joke on that one...splicing the audio from the "Legacy" trailer with clips from "Willy Wonka"??? Where do people come up with some of this stuff?

C'mon, it was hilarious. Especially the part when "Billy Gunn" was digitized by the big camera. I had forgotten that part and it was so appropriate.

The commercials for this movie are orgasmic. I cannot wait to go see this in the theater, and then own it on Blu.

My wife and I have a running joke about how much she hates the concept of Tron (I know, right?), but I think the fact that this movie has the girl from House as a main character is actually making her a little more interested in it than she was originally.

It's one of the actors from the Fox show, House, M.D. (which is a pretty popular show, although I don't really like it). I'm not into the movie for her; I just want to see Tron.

Ah, I see...my bad. Yeah, I don't really watch television (except for when pro-football is on), so I don't know who she is...I'd like to see more Cindy Morgan myself!

As for the movie, yes, I hear ya on that

. I do plan on seeing it eventually as well.

All right. Confession time. I'm 31 and I just saw Tron for the first time last week. Not going to tell you how I saw it...just that I saw it to get a better understanding as to what I'm in for in two weeks.

Gotta say, it's an intriguing film if you strip away the cheesy aspects of it. I mean, immediately after watching the film, I got a real good sense as to what Legacy MIGHT be about just based on how Bridges plays Flynn in the film.

I was already on board with seeing the film just based on the ridiculous visuals on display in the trailers. Now, from a story and character perspective of Kevin Flynn, I'm really, really interested on how they're going to do this sequel.

What's the story? What's the theme? What's the point of this sequel...28 years later?

I'm curious as hell to find out.
