Perhaps you should go back and read your own review of the movie and all the other so called critics and people who are trashing the movie

This seems to be pretty split, with some saying it wasn't the best and others saying it was great. Interesting. Anyone see the Thor trailer in 3D?

It must depend on the theater and their equipment...

This is complete nonsense. It's a better film on every level, especially in creating characters the audience wants to be invested in.

One of my favorite movies of the year and I can't wait to own the Blu-ray!

4 out of 5 stars.

Not being a Nolan Batman fan, I didn't care WHO it was, I just enjoyed the geek-lore shoutout to the original film.

It's been at least six years since I saw the original. What was his connection to the original film?

EDIT: Ah, nevermind. Did a little bit of searching and found out. Google can be your friend.

[Show spoiler]After seeing Diliginer's son's cameo I was expecting a Sark 2.0 or something to show up at the end to be the next villian since he was so technical and maybe he broke into flynn's world. Maybe still a possibility.

saw it opening night, and loved it. Gave it 4 stars!

The only things I wish they would have done.

-Slowed down the movie a little. Felt it was a little rushed in the story. Maybe another 20-30 min would have been nice.

-More references to the original. they did good explaining a few things, but alot was missed. especially for those who havent seen the first film. (one of my favorites)

The film is 127 minutes already. You couldn't add another 20 to 30 minutes to this film...

The film was OK, I paid for the 3D version and think I would have enjoyed it just as much in 2D. At 2 hours it was more than long enough, the ending was a bit of a letdown for me.

appreciate the TRON and CGM fan love out there.

TRON still rocks and I have no idea what your twisted comments on my avatar had to do with anything I said in my post.

It went fast to me. I would enjoy another 20-30 minutes if there was a director's cut.

Just got back from an IMAX-lite showing and I really enjoyed this one. I just really wish Disney had released the original on Blu-ray prior to putting Legacy in theatres, but I remembered enough about it to catch a lot of the references. The 3D Blu-ray will be a day one purchase for me and probably a soundtrack purchase later this week

You could easily. 2 hours and 7 minutes isn't that long. A good amount of big blockbuster movies nowadays are around 140-150 minutes. For Disney though, yes I guess you are right. 2 hours is pushing it for Disney.

Absolutely loved every minute of it. I rented the original a few years ago. Besides the spectacularly imaginative visuals, I wasn't impressed with the movie itself. Tron Legacy is a much better film. It was even better looking than the original and this one actually had a pretty great story. Daft Punk's soundtrack is also marvelous. I'm going to have to purchase it (and I rarely buy soundtracks).

Tron 3/5
Tron: Legacy 4.5/5

Don't listen to the critics, this is a great movie that must be seen at the theater!
