Yeah, right. We know the truth, Alan. We know you secretly hate your iPad 2 and you only want to upgrade so that no one starts to suspect you might be uncool. Your "financial reasons" are just a ruse; we all know that nobody ever lets the expense of a high-ticket item hold them back from the day-one purchase of a product they dislike.

LOL!!!

I'm proud to say I've NEVER done something due to fear of someone discovering I'm uncool (not the least of which is the fact that I'm far from most people's definition of cool). In fact, I have a tendency to do the opposite of what most people consider cool.

Give it up, Alan. You're just like all the other millions who have made the iPad the fastest-selling electronics product ever. You'd toss that hunk of junk right in the trash if only they weren't peeking through your window.

Gotta run- gonna go get in line for a dried cat turd. Latest thing, you know.

You do know... right?

The anti-establishment way to deal with this is to let the cat poop outside.

Are you using the same litterbox you used years ago? If you upgraded you're just a sheep.

You just need to worry more about what people perceive is "cool" and do the exact opposite, even if it means spending a whole lot of time and effort not doing what you like. It all makes sense, believe me......

Oh geez, Fright Night part 2, but not really...well you know what I mean! Could you imagine if Sony did this with LoA? Wow!

Wait... all this time I've been buying high-dollar Apple products that I hate just to seem cool. Now, I'm supposed to do what's not cool (buying the awesome non-Apple products that I secretly love but give poor customer satisfaction ratings to and don't line up to purchase?) so that I can be cool again?

I'm so confused!

Am I cool?

Er... I mean... *ahem* I'm totally uncool, right?

Plus, rather than me posting to keep the thread moving, it’s at least giving me a much needed opportunity to catch up with all the work that has piled up since being away for a week at the Tech retreat < at which, b.t.w., the most potentially innovative product that was shown actually came from a company I was not familiar with at all. More on that later if I remember when I have more time.

Nevertheless, since someone is pulling a train, I’ve got to get in on this, even belatedly for sloppy seconds. This section of the thread reads like a day-long book, ergo -

Hey, there’s an iPad App for that

No, I haven’t but have now read down to half of page 1. Are they going to post this sort of thing with every TT release which people think will sell over 3,000 units? i.e. “What a cowardly move from one of the co-founders of Blu-ray.”

There is a time and place for everything and for those who have not experienced it in their own day-to-day lives, the time is now for outsourcing that sort of stuff. Plus, this actually has been a long time coming…

Rest assured, in terms of PQ and AQ, all the heavy lifting (producing the HD masters) is done by SONY and that’s all I’m really concerned about.

Big wins for this film. I can't wait to see it on blu when it's released.
Although, technically, the previously mentioned thread was focusing on Sony catalog titles, not the new releases.
I keep saying this: Give me LoA and all will be forgiven/forgotten!

Wait a minute, I own several Sony BD's does that make me a Sony sheep?
