BTW, Brad Fiedel does have one TT IST (Fright Night), as does Richard Rodney Bennett (Nicholas and Alexandra).
Of course. Mine was mostly off the top of my head.

But, then, I'm a film score geek.

Yes, of course, Bennett and Fiedel are represented...an oversight on my part.

Not entirely jah13. I'd inadvertently left Fiedel off the list, so I quickly added him after your post drew attention to my own oversight.

Imagine if Criterion pulled this sort of thing. We'd have nervous breakdowns weekly.

Got busy at work and forgot the pre-orders were today. Just got home and grabbed "Christine" and "The Fury" along with "Experiment In Terror" plus the two Flint films.

Sounds I got my order in just in time.

It's like "Okay, now I've got Christine...and The Fury...what else will go with those? Hey, what about The Egyptian? Or High Time?"
Why is that surprising?

People do that to save a few bucks on shipping. If a title is in no danger of "selling out", I will usually just wait awhile and then order in a group of 4 or 5 or more.

Same here, although I did want other films too but my backlog of films to watch needs to be priority first.

Fast selling doesn't necessarily mean it will be $200 though (I bought 3 copies just in case, but I don't expect it, I would be thrilled if I could sell my extra copies even for $80... and even that probably sounds greedy to some).

I think reason Fright Night got so high is because it caught people off guard, so not alot of people were buying 3 or 5 or 10 to flood ebay with like what is happening now. Most people probably got 1 or 2 copies and that was it. I gaurantee you the ratio of people that ordered "multiples" of Christine is many times more than Fright Night. If I had to guess, I would assume that the majority of orders were for at least 2 or 3 copies. With probably numerous people even ordering the max of 10. I wonder if ANYBODY ordered 10 copies of Fright Night?

Oh that part I get AgentOrange. It's just that I wouldn't automatically associate some of the arcane stuff that has also been moving this afternoon with a 'core interest in 70s or 80s horror movies. Of course, my own tastes are eclectic enough to mix it up like that, but I'm always surprised when I see others doing it too.

So it wasn't a serious observation at all...more affectionately bemused.

I own 4 of those 7. Not bad, I suppose.

Wonder how long it'll take The Egyptian to sell out. I feel like the Blu-Ray's been sitting at 500 copies left for ages.

Sony is probably kicking themselves for handing over Christine, while Twilight just paid a ton of bills with this release.

With Sony starting to schedule some of their titles for non-US release (The Blue Lagoon, As Good As It Gets), so if those are region free I can see Christine following sooner rather than later.

Fright Night and NotLD aren't getting an international release, so I don't know if Christine will either. Seems like the big studios don't care about their catalogue horror titles any more.

Doesn't matter, cause in the END I'm sure the market has a place for 3000 individual buyers of this movie. The end effect will be the same as Fright Night. Copies will dry up to true fans and the product will be gone from the market place.

I believe this movie is just, if not more popular then Fright Night, so demand will be as high if not higher.

I did get two copies of Fright Night, one is signed which I got free. And I'm keeping both.
I wonder if anyone else on this board has two copies.
