Waiting patiently at Walmart to get their head out of their ass, and put out their new release movies. They've been open for over an hour now, and still don't have them out. Target or Best Buy is about to get my business today.

that same reason is why i refuse to go to wal-mart for movie purchases anymore.

the one here was bad about being a week (or more, sometimes) late with new releases. and it got to where any time i'd ask about a new-release movie, they'd go in the back, find the damn thing, then come back out and tell me that the night crew didn't do the planogram like they were supposed to so they morning crew couldn't put the movies out. BUT THEY WOULDN'T HAVE THE MOVIE WITH THEM. it's like they couldn't be bothered to actually put the movie in their hand and bring it out to me to make a sale and for me to contribute to their paycheck.

and if i asked them about going in the back to get the movie for me, i'd get either a look of disgust since i just wasted their precious time (of standing around doing absolutely nothing), or they'd tell me they had to get approval to do that. approval? you have to get approval to make money? okay.....? and a LOT of the time, they wouldn't even have versions that were wal-mart exclusives. not that they wouldn't have them on release day, they wouldn't have them AT ALL. like.....NEVER!

so i just stopped going there for movies. it's best buy, target, or amazon now. i really don't like going to wal-mart for anything. but sometimes i need something quickly and they're the closest thing that might have it. still, though, i'm starting to just drive farther, right past wal-mart, to get "whatever" from somewhere else if i can.


sorry for the rant, it just brought back some bad feelings i have for that place.
