This morning I had to put on a thermal shirt and gloves for my walk. This afternoon walk, t-shirt and a sweat rag.

Nice! Great area here. Have any favorite places? I love going for drives up on Skyline and in that area. Big Basin is quite nice. Lots of nice areas really!

I like going further south- Monterey, Pacific Grove and Carmel are my favorite places to drive to and just take in the scenery. Highway 1/Big Sur is outstanding.

Oh yeah those are nice areas too although I'm not real familiar with them. I don't know what exactly is going on but I heard about the slide on Highway 1 while I was away the last few months. If I'm ever on one these days, it's the SC to Pacifica stretch. Have you heard of Pescadero? I quite like that town even though it's tiny.
Do you do 17-mile drive when you're in Carmel? It's really beautiful.

Neglecting some MNF.

17 mile drive is something else, isn't it? I have heard of Pescadero but I've never been. If I had to pick my favorite city in all the country, Monterey would be my choice. Small towns have a great quality and calming effect. You should really get down there more often. Carmel/Pacific Grove/Monterey can't be beat imho.

I went to LA for a wedding back in 1993, and drove up to San Francisco after than over to Lake Tahoe.
And even though I hate LA intensely, and California in general, and I'll never go back ever ever.
The drive up the PCH was a nice one, even stopped off at Hearst Castle
