Haha you're right, I don't, but on the other hand I don't want to go home to an empty apartment either. Plus the extra overtime money will be nice. That said I just obligated myself to stay til 10pm tonight, 14 freaking hours on top of the already 30hrs I have this week and a two more full shifts this week, i should really have my head examined at this point.

Yep; and I'm SO glad the show creators told the public this instead of capitulating to the poorly informed and saying "Oh you're right, we should have made it brighter so you could see it (poorly) on badly set up TVs with sunlight streaming in".

I got really annoyed at one reviewer who *correctly* assessed it needed a good set up, a dark room and not to be streamed at exactly the same time as everyone else was watching (which overloaded the compression)... but then said they should have realised this before transmission and adjusted for it!... so this "professional" reviewer thinks HBO should downgrade the image for *everyone* and future releases on physical or even future streamings just so people who don't set up their TVs properly, watch in brightdaylight and aren't willing to re-watch later for a better image experience can see a bit more on first viewing... ridiculous!

I was trying to explain picture settings and setup discs to a co-worker and she was just like "my husband can figure it out."

I had zero problems with the darkness. I have a Sony Bravia and everything looked perfect.

A couple of co-workers watched the same episode and neither one mentioned the dark scenes.

Sitting here breaking my fast by drinking a beer. Despite having the day off I’m up at my usual time and getting ready to watch Constantine: City of Demons. Hopefully I can go back to sleep once it’s over. It’s been another stressful week at work. Did OT solo on Monday and still didn’t finish my set I was working on. Apparently my “teammate” can’t stay over because he’s responsible for picking up his brother. Then the little turd bailed on me on Wednesday by calling out sick. So I’m really ready for our account to drop teams in their stores at this point

Working about 10 hours of OT today, after only an hour of sleep. At the end of the day I will have worked 60 hours this week, not a record by any means but still a lot especially for our "slow season".

Nowhere as much work as some are doing but having to do a relatively long day for what is normally a 'half-day Friday'...

I doubt I'll get through this lunchbreak I'm on without buying myself something online to cheer myself up
