Two of my sisters aren't vaccinated. One said that she won't make it over, which is fine. The other got Covid last winter, so lit was likely not Delta.

Sitting here at My Luv’s parents house and listening to them talk while I scroll through the site. I’ve been looking to finally upgrade to a 4K player and my Marvel collection to 4K steelbook. Since I left my BD collection of the films with my son when my ex wife and I split up. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. Back in Dallas for the week tomorrow.

Just took a 3hr nap after work. Gonna fix and eat dinner with my Love before I hit the road for NY. I decided I'm just going to take my truck, I'd hate for her anxiety to spike up as she nervously tries to drive my full-size around the streets of Detroit all week,besides my crew-cab is helluva lot comfortable to sleep in which will come in handy because I don't yet have a clue what I'm doing for lodging up there(hotels near the hospital my kiddo is in are all booked except for an extended stay type place)

working on my list of movies on tape... can't really do much since the rest of them aren't here yet but should gotten in the next trip. I think I might have to do 2 so I close it out and possibly go to Sonora and see my other auntie and cousins.

I am trying to stay busy but thoughts intrude like they always do and I don't want to write them down just yet.

About to head to my former brother-in-law's house to eat dinner with him and his kids for my nephew's 10th birthday. Looking at training history going into previous marathons, I feel good about the 17th, I still doubt I will beat my Duke City Marathon course PR of 4:16.

Sitting at a urgent care clinic in Yonkers NY for a rapid covid test,closest location that wasn't super packed since the hospital's requiring it along with proof of vaccination for all visitors. I'm technically only half vaccinated but as long as my test comes back negative that shouldn't be an issue. Biggest issue is trying to figure out why my insurance didn't cover it, opted to pay out of pocket...$120 for a simple nasal swab,ugh! Gotta call Blue Cross later to discuss reimbursement since it should've been covered, oh just another fine example how Obamacare ****ed us hard-working Americans.

Slept sitting up in what is probably the most uncomfortable chair known to man last night in my baby's hospital room, my neck is stiff and really sore. Got woken up every 15-20min by a tiny Asian nurse coming in to check on her, then 3:30 in the morning she decided would be a good time to take a blood sample-she came in without gloves or even a mask on I was confused you take care of COVID patients and refuse to take simple precautions? Anyway, took me 30min at least to calm the kiddo down and soothe her back to sleep.

Breakfast cart just rolled in, extra runny oatmeal and something that is unrecognizable but may be powdered scrambled eggs(I've had MREs that look better than this crap) and some apple juice to wash it all down. The covid-19 special, as it's easy to swallow. I'm going to feed her then head down to the cafeteria and get myself a cup of coffee,that is unless they let me have a cup from the nurses station on this floor but I doubt it.

When I watch the news and see how bad Covid is here in Alberta, I think of our upcoming Thanksgiving Dinner and about two of my sisters who aren't vaccinated and how wrong it will be if they come over.
Our dinner this past weekend went well, but jeez, having a houseful of people with known anti-vaxxers is so wrong.

Putting another audio cassette in my tapedeck

Have finally starting to digitize my audio cassettes through an asus pc audiocard at pcm 41k 24 bit line in and windows total recorder (and a good 3.5 to rca audio cable)

They say there is no benefit of going over 41k16 bit because cassettes do max 17000 hertz anyway but i have better results doing it at 41k24 bit that takes up about 1.5 gb per 90 min tape versus the 1gb per tape at 16bit

apparently the old max +2db level that you used to record analogue is now the minus 12 db below 0db level in the digital world but i noticed i can just leave the recording sofware stand at its 0db level and my old +3db cassettes peak at minus 4 db on screen and the digital result sound very good to my ears

so im doing them all this way

At the moment an old good kenwood 1989 kx-5010 (sankyo amorphous head) But after i have done all i do it all again on a good yamaha kx-493 ' 1998 model (but offcourse that one has more wow and flutter)

Working on a design for a custom media tower that my dad is gonna help me build. It's going to be a fairly good-sized unit for my room that should give me plenty of space for Blu-rays/DVDs. I shouldn't need anymore space for a long time.....I hope.

Doing a Best Buy customer service chat to have them price-match The Conjuring 3-Film Collection for me. It's for a buddy in Norway. Also picked him up The Shawshank Redemption 4K at Best Buy earlier today.

Going to make some rounds pretty soon and check out Blu Rays to buy. I likes to buys the movies
