If you can make it to the UK, i'm sure you'd love it. Next time we head over we'd like to spend a few days in and around Loch Ness, and have some time in the Lake District. My family is originally from that end of the England, although I was born just south of London.

I think you'll like Mt. Airy. I have been there twice and while I don't remember too much, I do remember being smitten with this girl who liked Jennie Garth from Beverly Hills 90210. My mom and I went in '96 and we stayed at this B&B and then my dad and I went in '97 and we stayed in the same room at the same B&B. Read my mom's guest book entry from the year before which was cool.

I'd love to get back East before too long. Besides New York for the US Open tennis tournament, I haven't been back since 1999 which was Boston. '98 was Pensacola. I did think about taking a trip back to Tennessee or North Carolina several years go but never made it. I think I was going to go in 2014 which would have been an off year for European travel (only two trips were Ireland in 2013 and then Germany/Austria in 2015) but I decided that I was going to go to British Columbia instead. Turns out that I didn't go anywhere that year because I went to spend time with my parents since I was thinking they would be moving back East that year.
Have you been to Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia?

As for England, I think I'd like it a lot there too. I mean, I'd be happy to just go to England and see some farm country. I love green and I'm sure England has plenty of it. I saw a post in this Love Ireland group today and the first picture they used was actually Haworth, England. Hopefully it shows up when I post it. I mean this picture alone makes me want to go to England

And I just got done watching 13 Minutes which I started a couple nights ago. It's a German film about the Georg Elser who tried to assassinate Hitler with a bomb but missed him by 13 minutes. I just can't imagine having that much courage and conviction to do what he did and to endure what he did after his capture.

Trying to decide what I want to do tonight. I started work at 4am so I've been up for awhile. I had three VA appointments and got home about 3pm or so. That's definitely later than I prefer to get home on a work night. I may get to sleep in tomorrow as I might be starting at 6:30am. So for now, do I just go to bed early and get some more sleep. Clean my apartment like I should be doing right now? Do I watch a movie or do I watch one of the series that I have on Blu Ray? I dunno, I dunno.

Also, I'm waiting for my ramen noodles in cool off cuz they hot right now

I always try to stack my VA appts. when possible.

Sucks their app doesn't give any decent deals like some other places do, Chick use to be the cheapest place out of the main fast food places, but that quickly has changed with a number 2 combo running almost 14 bucks up from 9.50 just a few years ago. I use to eat there almost once a week, lucky if it is once a month now.

Everything has gone up. It's crazy. Remember a couple years ago there was a chicken shortage. I went to a Buffalo Wild Wings for dinner and they were out of wings. Out of wings at a wing joint. Let that sink in. But yeah, it's a mad, mad world out there.

Had to break out some deck screws and my drill. Went outside and the bottom step to my deck was in the middle of the yard..LOL. I guess the dog pulled it off running around on her chain that gets wrapped around it every now and then.
