Probably just a local national forest area if I do go, but I still have a ton of stuff to do around my place with very little free time so I probably won't go. As for the bike, I have a road bike now - used to mountain bike quite a bit in my 20s and loved it, but as I got older I transitioned to road cycling. I'd love to get back into mountain biking but I don't need any extra expenses right now, lol, I may even consider a gravel bike just to ride up and down forest roads on lol

Hmm, maybe you can go out for two days and two nights and then still have time to do some work around the house. I'm looking forward to my first time back up to the mountains. Working six days a week makes it hard since the trip without traffic would be at least three hours. If I can get two days off in a row though per request, I might try and get up there in the next few weeks. I'll sleep in the car and have to bundle up because I would imagine there will still be quite a bit of snow.

Right now, I'm doing some laundry and playing some PS4. I'm off tomorrow so I don't have to be home as early as I like to be on work nights. The plan was to hit IHOP at 3pm for their happy hour but now I'm wondering if I might go somewhere else like Chili's. Decisions, decisions...

Went with Chili's instead. Just ordered my burger. I should be able to finish but I feel pretty full from all the tortilla chips that I had.

When I was eating instant noodles at work (and sometimes at home) I found that I enjoy yakisoba far more than Ramen.

Playing more YLAD2!

You need to try Ram-Don!

Watching Event Horizon at the moment. First time in glorious 4K. It looks pretty good. One of my fav horror films! Too bad we’ll never see the 130-minute cut.

Hey, I like Top Ramen I'm stuffed now and I'm getting sleepy. I've been up since about 2:10am and it's 5:06pm now. I'm going to run to Target real quickly and get a few groceries and then I'll head home and hopefully finish Titanic. I started it on Sunday and I don't think I even got an hour in.

NCAA March Madness on the television courtesy of HBO Max.

I have gone the past few years without cable, but HBO Max has live sports like TNT and TBS NBA games. They even have the TruTV NCAA games right now.

Bread and circuses; I'm easy to please.

Haha, I saw the Ram-Don post and the Parasite gifs, then I didn't read your part about Event Horizon and I thought you were calling Parasite a horror film.

I was gonna say...

Ate a late dinner. Got back from the theater after seeing Kung Fu Panda 4. Showered and ate KFC, that my sister bought for me.

8:30am and laying in bed on my one day off for the week. I’ve actually
Been awake since a little after 5am but have just been loungin. Trying to decide what to do today. I was thinking about doing a little hiking or perhaps a bike ride. I know I’ll end up at Costco and Barnes & Noble eventually. Hopefully I won’t be too lazy to get a few groceries at Walmart later.

I did that for about a year after I left the ARMY, I would automatically get up that early

I think it's due to me being used to getting up between 2:10am and 3:25am for work. If I start at 6am and take the bus, I might sleep in until about 4:45am or so.

I fell asleep during Titanic. I've mentioned this before but I'll set a timer on my phone for less than 10 minutes. Often times I'll fall asleep and not wake back up when I intend to. So those naps might help me with the extra sleep and might be why I can eventually go to bed around midnight and have trouble sleeping past 6am. I think the key to sleeping later (on my day off) is to get up when I wake up and use the net or watch some YouTube...something to kind of work my eyes. I bet I'd be able to fall asleep fairly easy after a half hour and sleep later.

Out of curiosity, did you go to work right after the Army or take a little time off? I was off for about a year I think before I went back to work. Some people just have to keep working. I'm not one of those people

Preparing to shave my head. I always feel quite Lex Luthor afterwards, even though I appear much more Kingpin.
