Went out for a bike ride today and I'm pretty sure that I had my first encounter with a rattlesnake. It was actually quite uneventful which isn't a bad thing. I was on my way back and I stopped to take a pic at the reservoir I was about to pass. First thing I heard was a splash in the water. The next sound I hear is a loud rattle. I had spotted some dragonflies hovering over the water and I thought they were quite loud but then I realized this sound was quite loud and sounded quite close. I'm standing on the shoulder of the road where I stopped to take the picture. I look into the brush and I saw a snake slithering away. I can't be sure that it was a rattlesnake but it must have been. I only saw a few inches of its body but I would say the width was at least the size of a golf ball.

Luckily he didn't get froggy and try something because then I would have had to snatch his ass up and make a belt out of him

Just woke up from a long nap that I didn't mean to take. I was going to hit another Barnes & Noble and try my luck finding a couple Criterions that I couldn't find at my usual store. After that, I was going to plan on stopping by the motorcycle shop again just to see if anything new caught my eye. But now, I think I'll just head over to Carl's Jr. and use a coupon and then come back home and do absolutely nothing.

Thanks, my dad called and said she is feeling a lot better than when they left. They are doing a CAT scan now. She has a faulty heart valve that they have to check on quite a bit. She gets really weak a lot.

My mom was released, the doctor thinks it was a new medicine that was causing her problems. Now I am taking a break from dragging the boxes of Halloween decorations down from the attic. I plan on starting to put the indoor stuff on Aug 1.

Macklemore and Ryan Lewis made a lot of money with The Heist because they owned the music and partnered with ADA, an independent distributor under Warner Bros. Music, that got that album played on the radio.

I don't think ADA still does this because Warner Bros. Music likes to make money these days.
