Final shift at current job ended at 8 so I'm posting in the parking lot at Anytime Fitness for awhile before I head home.

Sitting at the PC surfing the web because I can't hear out of either ear. The antibiotic drops have helped with the pain, bleeding and swelling but they are both still plugged up. If they don't open up by Sep 5 I have to go in and have some test done. It is going to be nice to get all of the upcoming music box sets that I have on order and not be able to hear them.

I suppose "Something I Need" is more back-catalog, so to speak, but OneRepublic gave the song an official video. I think it didn't really get radio plays even during the song's release and the video didn't get too many views.

Still a good song, I like it.

I've got some significant ear problems myself. I've had them most of my life and had tubes in my ears for years. In fact, I think I still have one in one of my ears. My hearing improved in the 90's and was fine until a few years ago when I noticed one ear was having trouble. There's something wrong with it (I can't remember what), but it is not permanent. Surgery could correct it, but it might also cause permanent vertigo. So, surgery is not happening. It's not terrible, but I do have to have the subtitles on when watching stuff on my TV. I will need to use a hearing aid at some point. I've got my dad's hearing aids but we haven't set them up yet. Man, I feel OLD.

Right after I posted about my ear problems last night my left ear completely drained and is fine now. My right one keeps opening up for a bit and then closing back so at least it is draining. Right now it is just more uncomfortable than anything.

I just finished this documentary. It’s 4 parts. I recommend it to anyone who grew up in the 90s and watched the show even a little as it’s a rather interesting time capsule.

About to turn on the Switch OLED and play a bit more SMT5-V before I go to It Ends With Us. I considered Romulus but I'm not paying $15 just to see it when I can see the Blake Lively movie for less than half that. Especially since I plan to wander into the Linndale food court after the movie and eat dinner.
