Funny. Right after I posted my message my doorbell rang and here it is now. Came straight from the factory in China via France and Germany. No wonder it took some time to get here.

I bought an Thinkpad X220 with i5(Sandy Bridge).

No. I ordered my unit 2 months ago and the first one was damaged during transit and then it went to their service centre in Germany and a week later they ordered me a brand new replacement unit. However it did not go well from that moment on. They didn't have the exact same model available anymore and for some reason they failed to notify me about this little issue. Like over a month later after I contacted their manager things started rolling again and they offered me a different unit. It took about 12 business days to deliver it after that. 2 months without any laptop..yeah I'd say that's a pretty long period. I'm so glad I finally received it and it looks great. Haven't had the time to boot it up yet though.

ps. what's with the UPS dudes on this thread?

Just got back from walking one mile. Had a total hip replacement 2 1/2 months ago and I have to keep walking until the muscles get back to where they were before the operation.
