I've got lunch on, I have rugs in the washer, did the dishes, sprayed the weeds outside, now I'm in my office gearing up for a few hour session of art design. I have to finish my Dad's father's dad present too.

I'm still doing design work. I stopped for a bit to eat an early dinner as I was hungry and did the dishes afterwards. I had some pigs in a blanket and fried potatoes, pretty good meal. I may go to barnes & noble in a bit to get a new book to read when I get in bed.

I'm pretty sure it's an event. Sounds like it could even be a school event like the father daughter dance, or mother son bowling that my school had as a kid, only now they've learned to be more inclusive of all the children.

Correct - the event is held at my children's daycare center and is called "Donuts with Dad".
