Just now having my first cup of coffee, getting ready to fix some pancakes for my daughter and I, then gotta do some banking. My CC statement came in and I'm frantically trying to figure out how I'm going to pay off it's $2000 balance before it's due. Damn back to school shopping.......sh!t adds up fast.

been outside painting...and watching it dry, lol.

i've been painting a garden swing and a bird house for my mom. i built them for her and they needed painting so i've been doing that for the past couple days or so. finally got done with both of them a little bit ago.

and now i'm sitting inside, cooling off, and watching some youtube.

Well I ended up asking my parents to babysit today, and since what should've only been 6 hours at most turned into 12 hours I decided to stop at the grocery store to pick up some steak, potatoes, corn on the cob, a shrimp cocktail, and a six pack of local IPA as a special treat for them. I honestly don't know what I would've done without them being available to watch the kid. Now I'm just trying to relax a bit, before I stoke the grill.

That's what we live for don't ya know!

Our Son lived 1/2 mile from us ( he has 2 boys ), and our daughter was about 5 miles away. ( she has 2 girls )
and we watched the grand kids everyday and them some. ( and always for free )

We always had plenty of food for the four grand kids.
And each had their own tastes, but we had something for each of them.

Plus we bought them way to much stuff ( toys and such ) on top of that, they always asked "what did you get me"
as soon as they would come over.... ( my wife is to blame for that, she started it )

But this year they all moved out about an hour away from us ( to 2 different counties )
And the youngest 2 started school this year as well, so now my wife and I have ZERO to do now
