Almost done with B v S, about to head downstairs and fix breakfast. Up to 30 digital copies on this micro SD card, not bad at all.

tomorrow is the big day for us, this week. SOOOO not looking forward it, lol.

but at least i'm getting some decent hours this week and next week. my next couple paychecks should be way better so i can catch up on some bills.

plus, i heard yesterday that our office will be closed on the 20th (a wednesday). they said it was an office holiday. and the only thing i can figure is it's the company's anniversary.

The director of administration at my work is leaving and I'm pretty sure she was the main one blocking my attempted schedule change to return to school. Definitely something to discuss with my new supervisor when she gets back from training.

hopefully that's something good for you so you can get the schedule you need/want.

i just can't imagine any company trying to block someone from taking classes to better themselves. that's just asinine, imo.

to me, it's like they're saying, "no, we don't want you trying to better yourself. we want you to stay here forever so we can keep you down and not let you advance or get better in any way."

Well several supervisors have said they're happy I want to go back to school and they hope I do well but so far 0 of them are willing to let me adjust my schedule so I can attend classes that require being in person. Actions speak louder than words, I'm not that gullible, I can tell when people are full of crap.

I have always used a corded headset (an old Blackberry set that has worked very well over the years), but it wouldn't hurt to try my Bluetooth headphones as another option. Only thing is, there always seems to be latency and/or echo issues with BT headsets.

Final day of vacation, slept in a little. Just adjusting back to my normal schedule without the family. Haircut & a little grocery shopping in a bit. Big wildfire in Ventura just North of me as well.

Watching more Kingsman Golden Circle during my lunch break. Thinking about how I won't be participating in the office Christmas festivities. I don't like enough of the people here to want to eat lunch with them. Also I can't even afford to buy gifts for my family, I'm certainly not doing Secret Santa for work.
