Came back home to get some stuff for my wife for her overnight in the Hospital. ( hope it's just one night )
And to get some rest for myself before heading back out to be with her.
( sitting around a Hosp. isn't good for a bad back/neck, etc, like I have ) she'll call me once they've assigned her room number.

For over ten years, my wife has been very susceptible to catching whatever is going around since her (past) radiation and chemo treatment,
or whatever someone she comes in contact with has.

And on top of that she just sometimes gets weak and dizzy for a while ( days, etc.. )

So today, after feeling lightheaded and dizzy for almost 2 week, and not being able to shake it,
I took her the the ER... ( this seems to happen once every year or two )
Normally after a long 5 hour ER visit, I've been able to take her home.

But this time after treating her and giving her some fluids she's not gotten better like she has in the past.
So they're keeping her over night to run a bunch of test...

worked a 14 hour shift today... now having a rum & coke and watching Criminal Minds on TV. Thinking about what we're gonna have for dinner but actually right now I'm thinking about finishing this drink and going to bed.

I just want to say I hope she gets well soon

My daughter suffers from massive headaches/blackouts as well as gets dizzy spells at times, no doctor within a 100 mile radius has been able to give us a proper diagnosis. Usually when it ends up really bad (lasts more than a day) and I take her to the ER, they just rule it out as being severely dehydrated. One doctor declared she was anemic recently but I don't trust that diagnosis frankly although she does get tired quite often.

Sorry to hear that your daughter suffers from Migraines, Part of my wife's problem stems from Migraine headache,
and it takes a while for it to go away.
And only Zomig helps her, which is the most expensive stuff there is for it.

This time when I took her to the ER they didn't give her enough fluids (imo) they only gave her 1 bag and normally
they give her 2 - 4 and than she starts to feel better.
I didn't really think about that ( while in the ER ) till afterward.

She is in her room now ( at the Hosp. ) and she seems better, and they have her on 1 more bag of fluid ( Sodium chloride, I think it is )
I feel if she'd gotten that 2nd bag ( or more ) in the ER she'd be home now.....

Even my wife brought that up when I was just with her, but then again, she said she's also glad that they admitted her,
since they are going to do some tests.
At least we'll find out if there is any other underlying problem for this that we didn't know about before.

Good vibes BWBODDY and Mike16. Spent the afternoon cleaning up the living room. Have someone coming out on Friday to look at the house. Shit is getting real. So I got rid of the two broken ass chairs, put them out on the back porch and separated my son's toys from his LEGO's toys to put in his bins. Went through some more stuff to get rid of after dinner. And now I'm sitting here playing catch up in the forum, drinking some whiskey mixer and listening to Pandora instead of watching one of the three Netflix BD's I've had for almost 2 weeks tonight. In my defense, I've been non stop since the day after I received them.

Just got back from getting my long, hippie hair completely cut off. Miss Rager is quite happy with the results.

Now I just need to parlay this into some "couple time."
