I kept having that issuse, I found that ( I'm not kidding ) shaking my Computer and even lightly letting it rock and band on the desk,
then trying to power up again would work! ( this was after trying other things first )

I know the issuse is not with the Hard Drive ( I did swap it out during my trouble shooting, the original is now back in )..

The issuse is somewhere on the board, a relay or capacitor, etc..
I bought a used Computer of the same make and model to piece together with what I have ( hard drive, memory etc )...

I have left my Computer ON since the last time this happened and I got it to power back up, been 3 weeks so far
and the problem hasn't happened again.

But next time it does I'll Frankenstein these 2 Computers together into one...

My issues seems to be a function of working for a huge corporation that pushes umpteen software patches a month. The only way I try to combat it is but running a disk cleanup and defrag every night before I log out for the day and even then it bluescreened this morning so who the frap knows?

What I was doing earlier tonight

rearranging stuff in the bottom second shelf of my bookcase. It was crammed with bunch of stuff including a lamborghini model car underneath bunch of Nintendo 3DS games and Seinfeld DVDs.

Its a nice looking model car that i had put together 2 or 3 years ago but its collected dust so I threw it away earlier tonight.

So far for now the bottom shelf is organized neatly this time with my old original DVD set of Star Wars original trilogy from 2004 along with Smallville Seasons 1 through 6, Simpsons and Seinfeld. Then i put in a couple of paperback books since thats what my bookshelf is supposed to be for anyway.

Now I need to figure out where to put my collection of the Dark Horse omnibus trades of the old Marvel Star Wars comic book series.

Im pretty much cleaning my bookcase by dusting it with a Dollar General spray can of furniture polish and then rearranging some books to make it look nice and organized.

Then later read some more of Star Wars Scoundrels paperback and play Destiny 1 and Battlefield 3 for Playstation 3
