Opened up my Nintendo to finally find out what the rattling noise inside was. It's been present ever since I bought it back in 2002 but it always played fine so I never bothered investigating. Figured it was just a piece of plastic, plus I was always reluctant to open it anyway in case I broke something. But I watched a Youtube video last night that showed it was pretty simply, so I decided to try it. Turned out it was two screws that were somehow loose. It looks like a previous owner might have opened it at some point and didn't do a good job closing it up, because those two were rolling around and a few other screws were loose and sticking up when they should have been all the way down. Went through and tightened everything up, put it back together, then popped in Contra to play a bit.

I was in the middle of playing my game and the control’s battery died. So now I have to charge the battery.

Currently, paying my water bill over the phone.

I went outside hoping to work on my tan, but it was mostly cloudy.

Decided to pull weeds and I filled a bag full.

I will start working on doing my taxes.

was just up in the attic checking to see if i could find a leak. the ceiling in my kitchen has a couple spots on it...but i can't see anything that would indicate a leak/hole in the roof. it may be critters/varmints (have had that issue, before). i guess i'll find out with all this rain we're supposed to have the next couple days. i'm hoping it's NOT a leak as i really don't wanna have to find money from somewhere to fix it. my plan is to get a metal roof put on, but that's a couple/few years down the road (barring any unforeseen major circumstances or issues).

My Girl left work early today, as she pulled into our driveway right before I did. Think we're gonna relax a bit before deciding what we're going to fix for dinner.

Just finished the Andy Summers (guitarist from The Police) autobiography "One Train Later" the other day so delved into The Police's catalog last night in the basement and stayed up a little too late and now dragging ass this morning.

DirecTV nstaller just left. It was a simple swap of one client for a 4K client. Took less than 5 minutes. However, it took over 30 minutes trying to close out. He had to call DirecTV twice. 5 minutes for the swap, 30 minutes for the paperwork. Lol. Better him than me, I guess. I have the client sitting on top of my Oppo. He was a little rough putting the new 4K client back on top of it. Made me cringe. I was like, c'mon, this is a collectors item now.

At the end of the day, I have 4K. Bring on The Masters.
