Finally home, it's been a long week. Sipping some coffee and catching up on e-mails and such. We made it from Washington to the east coast in 4 days and still got to see some touristy stuff (as well as visit with some long-lost relatives in the midwest - wish we had more time to visit with them!), once we got to PA my fiancee reminded me that we were invited to her family's cabin for Memorial Day in the Pocono Mountains so a little detour to spend a couple days with them, until I got into a little altercation with my future BIL after he started making my daughter feel uncomfortable last night while he was in a drunken stupor so we headed home a day early, I definitely could have and would have killed him if we stayed. I don't give a crap how much you've had to drink, when you start talking about someone's 10-y/o daughter being "hot enough to f**k" you better be ready to meet your maker.

got home a little bit ago from my nephew's birthday party. he's a spider-man fan so it was a bunch of spider-man stuff...

cake ...
[Show spoiler]

cookies...
[Show spoiler]

mini cupcakes...
[Show spoiler]

and my youngest niece's boyfriend even dressed up as spider-man for him...which made his day. he had the biggest grin on his face the whole time. and since he's a former gymnast, he could do some acrobatic stuff that really help to sell it (it was actually pretty cool).

i could've eaten that whole thing of mini-cupcakes, lol.

and it was a little sad and cute when my nephew found out that spider-man had to leave to "go save new york". he kept walking around looking for him.

Glad he enjoyed it. He'll remember this for the rest of his life. Something tells me you will, too.

Wishing all my BD.com peeps a happy Memorial Day. And a tip of my hat and a raise of my glass, or beer bottle in this case, to all the brave men and women who served and gave all. Thank you.🙏

Coffee and getting ready for work while I enjoy this delicious waffle my daughter made for me this morning. What is it with kids waking up early on their summer vacation, but not want to get up on a school morning.

Sitting here having a cup of coffee and trying to earn a hard as **** achievement on a Halo 4 Spartan Ops mission solo. Last day before I’m back to work. Hopefully it is a short, uneventful week. The Mrs is going to take the boy out for a bit today. I might go through some of the boxes of his and remove batteries out of his toys before moving them out of the room and into the closet. Then again, I might just have a well earned quiet, lazy day

Taking a late lunch to hopefully speed up the rest of my day...it probably won't matter however the 2nd half of my day always seems like the longest

I just wrapped up a late lunch and going to continue to play some Halo 4 special ops before the Mrs and boy get home. Looks like my MiL is having a good rest. So, outside of the dog pacing about, the house is pretty quiet for the moment. Debating on if I’m going to continue with the beer or move onto the good stuff.

I just ordered A Vigilante for store pickup at my local BestBuy because apparently they have 2 in stock.

Let's see if they get it right this time and maybe ordering for in store pickup is better than just going there and asking for it. The last couple of times a small release like this was available, somebody had to go dig in the back for 20 minutes.

The less I have to deal with those people lately, the better

Reading a long email from our realtor, we've been trying to sell my (future) mother-in-law's house up here in NY because neither my fiancee or I are interested in staying in this state forever. Thing is it needs some rehab and apparently there's some extra paperwork to list it as a "fixer upper" then there's an issue of back taxes owed on it which she doesn't think is right as her mom paid them appropriately and we have the receipts to prove it.

Sold a box of DVDs and some CDs at Rasputin Music earlier and got $60. That will help cover my June Blu-ray purchases.

I just got in to work after a close call on Rt. 46

I haven't been able to say this in a while: A Vigilante was AWESOME!!!

I went in originally just because it is an Olivia Wilde movie and I figured...meh...ok...let's try it.

It's so much better than I thought it could be and doesn't make a joke out of itself.

It is absolutely NOT like Peppermint at all.

A Vigilante is a fantastic movie.
