About to take a shower and head out to my least favorite account. Next week will be my last week at this job. Have an interview with Pepsi on Friday. Hopefully that goes well and puts me in the direction I want to be at if I get the job. Trying to remain optimistic.

That's awesome! I know a couple guys who work for PepsiCo and they love it over there. Apparently the pay and benefits are great. I think one is a store vendor (basically he sets sets up displays at stores), another is in the warehouse. I don't have a clue what he does, I presume he loads trucks all day. I'd love to move over there myself, just for the better schedule (they do 5 8s vs my current 4 12s)..

Thanks Mike, I’m cautiously optimistic. I’ve got a phone interview, but it feels more like what I’m doing now. Although it is a more leadership role. I’m more apprehensive with it though because of my current job being eliminated and the high turnover with them. The Pepsi job is more inline with my job at Hasbro.

Sitting here wrapping up this shitty day and Ralph Wrecks the Internet with the boy while my Mrs has a conference call. She and her friend are trying to get something started. Hopefully that doesn’t run much longer. I need to get some sleep and wrap up my accounts tomorrow. One more week and I start a new chapter or have a lot of time on my hands again. Whatever holds, I’m driving my MiL’s car tomorrow

apparently we had a good bit of wind last night along with some rain. and there's all kinds of small limbs and leaves in the yard. i guess i'll be picking those up later, today.

Just finished counting up all the receipts from a day and a half trip to see Twenty One Pilots in Birmingham, AL and hitting the local breweries to celebrate the wifey's 35th birthday. The show was FANTASTIC and the city was a fun time with good food, very good beer and nice people. It's cool that it's only a 3-hour drive so I'm sure we'll be back soon enough.

ot: watched the thing after breakfast this morning (my first time ever seeing it). then i went out and dug up some small trees/shrubs/bushes that i didn't want around my flowers. then i cut the back yard. now i'm trying to cool off a bit before i take a shower.

not that i can remember. although that doesn't mean much since i barely remember stuff that happened last week, lol.

i haven't been to avondale in quite a while; and i don't like going to b'ham unless i absolute have to. but homewood is cool. years ago i worked there and it was cool being able to get off work late (1:00-2:00 am) on a friday or saturday and walk to a bar or small restaurant and have some drinks and a bite to eat.
