worked a boring-as-hell (it was super slow) 4-hour shift, at work; it felt like 8 hours.

but now i'm home, just finished dinner (spaghetti, thanks to my youngest niece), and watching some youtube and poking around on here.

Sitting here in the carport having a drink with The Mrs. before I head to bed. I basically handed in my notice without wrapping up the next two days. Hated doing it, but need to take my car in tomorrow. Hopefully it isn’t too expensive. I need it up and running before I start a new job.

Having a day working from home so can have my personal PC running alongside my work PC... ordering stuff just before my birthday (so I shouldn't be) but only stuff that is so unlikely to be bought for me (as it has to be imported) I will hopefully be safe - had to be done as my 'discount for joining the site' code was about to expire.

The horse shaped gobo will shine horse shaped light on a horse that will, in turn, shine light onto the world.

Where ya headed? I'm currently in the planning stage of our big USA road trip. Right now we're looking at the "four corners" - down the east coast, then out to the west coast, up to the PNW, and back to the north east. We're not sure if we're going to do it this year or wait until 2020, as that would give us a little bit more money and more time to research the key tourist stops we want to make.
