Dealing with this ridiculous abdominal pain I get a few times per year. If it doesn't go away soon, it'll be a long night of sitting in the recliner unable to even stand up. Woohoo.

Drinking some Eagle Rare and waiting for my cold medicine to kick in and listening to Spiders and Snakes by Jim Stafford. It popped up on my Spotify Weekly Discovery and really digging it. Day 2 was pretty uneventful, spent half of my shift doing computer stuff and the rest trying to juggle proper customer service despite not knowing jack shit about most of the product

About to get my day started by shaving and showering. Another bad nights sleep courtesy of the boy. I felt bad for The Mrs, who had to drive up to Dallas for a flight early this morning. Apparently the traffic was pretty bad. Hopefully she picks the closer airport, despite having to switch flights at another airport, as an option next time. Have a good one peeps.

Off of work for 3 days. Don't have to be back til Monday. We don't work weekends usually. To hell with that place. Cleaning up around the house, a few drinks and jamming tunes.

Comforting the kiddo, as she's been sick all day, I think its a side effect of the blood pressure meds her pediatrician prescribed her. Set up a follow-up appointment next Thursday morning and in the meantime she won't be taking the meds, hopefully she'll feel better. Quite frankly I didn't like the idea of her taking them in the first place, her BP was only slightly high which really doesn't make sense since she lives a relative healthy lifestyle.

I’m sitting here trying to chill. I spent most of the day on a register and stocking nearby aisles. Apparently I get to go in and throw feed freight tomorrow with someone much younger than me starting at 0500.

The boss wants me to keep him on task and turn it into a competition, but I’m smart enough to know that I don’t know enough on where the product goes to do that lol. Hopefully they’ve got their shit together.

I figure by close of day I’ll have earned my Friday off. Fingers crossed I don’t throw my back out. Which is why I decided to throw a pizza in for The Boy and I to insure I go to bed early tonight.

Thanks Don. When I expressed my opinion about it all to the Mrs she basically told me they knew best and that some drugs now could deter a bigger issue later especially considering its heart related. I should've trusted my instinct from the beginning and never filled the prescription, but I too was concerned about her recent black out episodes and weight loss.
