Sitting here on a lunch break trying to find my calm. This morning was a total cluster **** here at work. Had to be in at 0500 (which was fine), 0700 opening and no Lead or Manager scheduled to cover it, cashier running late and more trucks and deliveries on top of it. Then the boss comes sashshaying in and acts surprised when I tell him opening was a mess

About to pack for my weekend away with my family and girlfriend. Can't wait to sleep in and relax with my family on Friday and not participate in that faux holiday. Surprised Thanksgiving hasn't been cancelled at this point. Seems all anyone cares about anymore is stupid Black Friday.

uh...black friday, dumb-ass

6:00 am...regular time

no! we don't know what all is gonna be on sale. they don't give us a heads up. but the whole thing has been posted online for over a week.

"if i buy something now, and it goes on sale on black friday, can i bring my receipt and get the difference back?"
nope...you buy it now, you pay now prices. end of discussion.

i have no idea...they don't tell us what's gonna be on sale, then.

i changed the brakes, front and rear, on my truck. gotta love that new brake smell, lol. but it stops WAY better, now. also the rear brakes don't groan, anymore, when i'm backing up.

Treating myself to a ice cold beer after a 12hour work day. Decided to check out of my hotel room at lunch, even though I have to be back at work at 3am (instead of my usual 4am start time) tomorrow. Gonna finish this beer then bake my infamous pecan pie to go with tomorrow's dinner. Still not sure if I'm going to spend it with the Wife and her family or with my daughter at her mom's, or simply just return home and have a pathetic turkey TV dinner by myself.

I met this woman at the salon while I was waiting to get a massage about a month ago. She let me kiss her on the neck as we were the only two in there. The two employees working in the back were with other customers. I saw her a short time later and we kissed some more but we never exchanged contact info. I've gone back to the salon since then and I guess she's been asking about me quite a bit. I went to get a massage today and this was waiting for me.

Started playing Pokemon Shield. I finished up Sword last night. I also set up my PS4 but haven't decided when I'll start playing any of the games I bought for Black Friday.

Spent the day cleaning a few things around here. The A/C-Heater was a mess. Might have to look into a space heater soon. Have clothes in the laundry and have been seeing what my options are for internet providers. So now I’m here playing catch up in the forum. I’m thinking of lying down for a bit. I’m closing tomorrow and have no plans this evening outside of just chilling.
