Central Valley, so SoCal isn't too far of a drive. I prefer road trips to flying. We were last down there in October 2018 to hit up Universal Studios and do some general sight-seeing around L.A., but I think it's been about 2-3 years since I was last at Disneyland. I've been there probably a little over 30 times now since the early-80s. It was a yearly vacation spot for my family when I was a growing up and then visits became a little more sporadic after 1998.

just got through scrubbing my shower. i bought some brushes that go in a drill, and i used those after spraying it with mold/mildew cleaner. the brushes made it much easier than doing it all by hand. then i sprayed another light coat of cleaner and am letting it sit for a bit before i go give it a final rinse. i wanna re-tile it, but i gotta pick out the tile i really want. i know the basic color and size i want, but i gotta narrow it down.

Been doing some downsizing and cleaning of the house all day today. Now I'm helping the kid with her homework (or trying to, I got a little confused by a certain Spanish assignment and had to turn to Google - wish she would've had the choice to take French instead). About to start cooking dinner, think we're going to have my daughter's favorite: baked mac & cheese.

I did that about 10 years ago and I was skeptical because "What are a couple of more speakers gonna do?" Right?

I can tell you from LOADS of experience that the extra real estate in the sound stage somehow makes it more physical and more comfortable. The sound terminates more naturally and while it is subtle at first, you will notice it more once you go 7.1 and then visit someone who doesn't have it.

I have never once...not one time regretted the jump.

Getting ready for work and making my daughter's morning fruit smoothie, she's got chronic hypotension and has to take these huge horse pills to elevate her BP, and like most kids she has a hard time taking meds so I've been crushing it and adding it to her smoothies
