I'm trying to find something to watch on TV, and trying to keep things off my mind. I've been really stressed and worried about a few things going on.

Also maybe I'll actually add my Blu-ray collection to this site finally. I have way more than 1 Blu-ray but got side tracked and forgot to finish it.

Getting ready for my last day of work here in NY. Clock's ticking to get this apartment emptied. Just found another apartment on zumper last night so I think ill give them a call today and get an application in.

I'm so excited. I'm finally killing the credit card from the dental work I paid for 3 years ago. Someone I care about very much needed help and I was happy to help. I would do it again in an instant but it was still a debt I didn't need to have and today...it dies.

One more and then I can get my new blu-ray player!!!

Coffee, news and surfin' for me.
My Lil Sis dropped by for a visit yesterday and it was great!
I'm very happy to be scheduled to go back to work in April. It's been way too long.

I’m finishing off organizing my movies and enjoying some vino.

coffee and surely I must be getting my ikea stuff soon but stuff is arriving tomorrow so I'll be busy building my new shelf to get ready when I take my trip to get the rest of my Criterions and whatever else I can move from KY.

and watching A Week Away (2021) on Netflix. Gonna try calling another apartment complex in KY to see if I can get a virtual tour or at least some more pictures of the apartment I found on Zumper and possibly submit an application. Might have to drive down a couple days early and pay for a hotel room (trying to avoid staying with her aunt/uncle as their place is so tiny). My days are dwindling here in New York.

the Ikea stuff is out of stock. why they won't show this on the status page is messed up. so I ordered when they were in stock but then they didn't pick it yet so it went out of stock for the Lack table and Cabinet l-something or other.

wish it was tomorrow so I could put something together and really have an idea of where to put things.

hat 2nd covid shot i took yesterday did me in big time besides arm still sore a little someone had stupid heater on low me shiiver being cold had to put on socks and pajama's i just woke up my head hurts i feel like crap wished i never took that shot yesterday like it helps yeah it helps all right jacked me up going back to bed meh

I can't believe I'm saying this but it looks like we're only going to be in Kentucky for a couple years. Her work contract is up in 2023 and they've been docking her hours already so i don't see them renewing it but I guess time will only tell. I needed a change of scenery so I welcomed this opportunity at first but the amount of stress I'm going through right now is absurd if it's only for two years. It probably wouldn't have been too bad if she skipped the house and we just kept renting. Neither of us knew this area and it was a public auction so all we got were pictures on the internet. She's from the Louisville area and her family is from Lexington. So how the heck did we end up in Southeast KY? LOL

Ot: taking a break from packing to peruse my daughter's online photo album. She finally got her mom out on the trail, they climbed one of the toughest mountain ranges in the Catskills yesterday and successfully built a fire on her own using only sticks. My prodigy, I'm so proud of her and will miss her after i move in a couple days.

trying to avoid a zoom call from a friend that I foolishly agreed to have, in which it will involve me being very proactive in dealing with the closing of a house he is trying to sell - ugh... I don't need this much responsible in my life at the moment right now.

These are only my Blus which I'm taking with me. Not pictured are the 6-7 banker boxes of DVDs I'm storing at my parents' house.

To think my Girl wants to get cable once we get settled. I cut the cord two years ago and haven't missed it.

Snacking on an everything bagel (toasted) with plain cream cheese, sipping a coffee and listening to the rain come down. The wife and kids are out shopping. The house is quiet and calm. I imagine this is what the eye of a hurricane is like.
