I should be at work, but am taking a sick day. Some un-fun abdominal pain happening.
What really sucks is that I'm on OT and lose some decent bucks from this. Hopefully I feel better in a bit and can get back at it.

I finally woke up next to the woman I love this morning. She's been sleeping in the other room or working nights so much that I almost forgot how this feels. She's taking the weekend off and although I have to work we still plan on making the most of it. Starting with some grocery shopping today and possibly another local-ish hike. Best part of living here is being surrounded by the Daniel Boone National Forest and dozens of trails. Just wish this area was just a little more bike friendly.

Last night was hysterical. First a meat pallet exploded....then one of my dairy pallets exploded in the doorway of the cooler. Barely anything got done.

In both cases, the complete stunads who loaded the pallets loaded lighter, smaller items on the bottom and much heavier items on the top and then wrapped it with one single layer of plastic wrap.

It was basically held together by The Force and all the other pallets around it on the truck.

We could see the plastic breathing and flexing while we were unloading and when we put it down....BWOOOOOOOSH.

We are extremely fortunate (borderline spoiled) in America to have all of these choices for covid vaccines.

My GF got called into work this afternoon so that blew our plans today. I spent most of the day playing days gone. Now I'm considering bracing the heat and Kentucky drivers and taking my bike out for a ride around town. I'm pretty sure I've seen most if not all this town has to offer by driving around and brief walks around the neighborhood but I feel I'll be able to see more on the bicycle.
