I have tomorrow off so I'm trying to decide what I'm going to do. Lately my day off has centered around where I decide to eat.

Just got home from an awesome last couple days in Tennessee with my BIL and lovely wife. It was what I needed to take my mind off of the drama involving my Ex and my daughter. Wish it didn't have to end but she's gotta head back to Georgia tomorrow and I'm dreading having to go into work at 2am. Oh well just took a shower and now I'm finishing this beer while watching a YouTube video then I'm going to try getting some sleep. Who am I kidding I'll probably be watching youtube videos until my alarm goes off at 1am at this point lol

trying to get some sleep for work in the morning meanwhile my Love has been running in and out of the bathroom for the last hour. I swear ever since she had covid19 earlier this year her digestive system has been all jacked up.

I just got back from taking Slash to the lake.
The weather has been so great so we've been going every morning.
The water temperature is close to me being able to swim with him and I can't wait. Maybe by the time we get back in just over a week.

Sitting here listening to the latest Neil Young and Crazy Horse album trying to convince myself to stay awake. I feel like I would have more luck with Lisa Loeb And Nine Stories. But I just opened the Neil Young record yesterday and I need to try and dig into it. I like it quite a bit. It's just that I just woke up about 10 - 15 minutes ago and I'm starting to have one of those days. It will get better, I'm sure.

I just finished bbqing some steaks.
The Wife has gone to drop a couple of them to Mom n Pop’s and when she gets back, we’re gonna watch Lightning/Avalanche.
It seems a crime to go inside on this beautiful day, but she was an Avs fan in the 90’s so we’re watching, no matter what, haha!

Less than 12 hours until RAW!!!

Fourth day of work and I've already put in my first 8 1/2 hours of Time Off. Raining this morning. Haven't had to ride in the rain for a long time. Was so used to riding down this descent with train tracks going diagonally across that I didn't expect the water to make the tracks that slippery. Smashed my skull, elbow, right hip, knee, bent part of my handle bar and for some reason the chain won't go back on. Because it was raining, I took my rain poncho instead of my helmet. Should have worn both. The one time the helmet would have come in handy. Just glad this was at the end of my work week, so that I don't potentially miss the next day too.

Man I'm glad you're okay, as someone who has had their bike slide out from under them in wet conditions that sounds like a gnarly crash.


OT: Coffee and surfin', looks like another hot week ahead. Good thing I don't have anywhere to be for a couple days, although not being home the last couple weeks I do need to make a grocery run

I’m about to finish packing then we’re hitting the road.
Gonna spend time with family, go to a concert, go to a movie at a decent theater and have a great family bbq.
Gotta get the 15 hour drive done then we’ll have a blast!
