Drinking a beer, surfing the web and listening to Billboard's top 100 hits from the year I was born. Couple years ago I did this with movies, I don't think I ever watched every single movie from that particular year (so many greats were released the same year I was haha).

Went golfing today. Had two boomers on my tail teeing off from the ladies tees breathing down my neck.

Hit Starbucks for a pineapple fresher and stopped at Sam's Club on the way home. Listening to the Jurassic Park expanded soundtrack at the moment and just chilling!

Bothered me that this bookcase I'm forced to keep in my kitchen/living room because of space limitations has these slanted planks with small spaces between on the doors that allow fumes and dust to come through. Finally covered them up by cutting and taping two trash bags, on the inside, where it's not such an eyesore.

Coffee and some surfing around before I do some chores and run some errands before I head down to the Lake for my birthday this weekend. I was thinking of going to Outer Banks, North Carolina but the thought of driving 11hrs for a day on the beach didn't excite me very much...especially since I'd be by myself.

I've felt like absolute crap all day today. My diet lately has been crap(borderline nonexistent truth be told) and the abundance of alcohol I've been drinking likely didn't help matters. Nonetheless I'm starting to feel better, I think I'm going to fix a bowl of soup and finish packing for my trip down to the Lake in the morning. We'll see how packed it is over the weekend, since the weather's supposed to be especially nice. Oh well I've got a little bit of a backup plan.

I'd like to go on a trip. Back in 2014, I was in between trips to Europe so I had planned on going to British Columbia for a week or so but that was the year that my mom retired and she thought she and my stepdad were moving back your way (Georgia) so I opted to visit them instead. Have been there a couple times when I used to live in Washington State and I'd love to return someday.

Next time you get out to California, you'll have to check out Yosemite and the Sierras.
