A rare Saturday post.

I'm watching Crown Jewel and checking my Blu-ray wish list to see if there's anything I can put on my Christmas list.

Been working on a drainage pipe which goes from my basement underground and comes out about 50 yards or so outside which unfortunately nature has retaken. I really need a tractor but I'm doing it by hand for now. Pipe is clear at least but just needs adequate dredging. Pretty beat and need a beer.

Listening to some Rammstein at the moment and gearing up for the World Series a bit later.

Been feeling miserable all day at work today, air frying some buffalo wings for dinner because apparently I'm glutton for punishment.

Just popped over to YouTube and checking out some videos on the main page and watching this one now. I don't listen to Joe's show but he seems to have some interesting guests/conversations.

I've talked a little bit about this but I did six months in county jail here in California back in 2016 and it was pretty much just like this minus the strong skinhead presence. We do have the different cards like this guy is talking about and politics/rules but I don't think it's taken quite as seriously as it would be in a state prison. One example of a rule that we (woods/whites) had was that we couldn't take food that wasn't sealed from a brother. If it was packaged, you were okay but if it was out of the package or the package was open, you had to pass. The thing that surprised me the most was that you can't just sit anywhere you like and with whoever you want at breakfast or dinner. Woods, brothers, homies (Hispanic gang members), paisas and others all had their own tables. At lunch, you could sit at whatever table you wanted.

I have no reason to re-subscribe to HBO other than Real Time with Bill Maher on Friday nights. It's not worth even $10 a month after discounts. Westworld was their best show by a country mile, especially if you like sci-fi.

I still need to watch the Studio Ghibli movies on there before I cancel my sub in June.

LOL...I have the first season (as far as I got) on 4K but it's a mind twist of a show. Been meaning to get back into it but now that it's canceled... That's really unfortunate that things will not get wrapped up with a fifth season. Hard core fans of the show must be super pissed.

Bill stayed at my hotel which was right across the street from the theater he had a show at. Very nice guy and doesn't travel in a crazy entourage like most celebs. His rep didn't even book him the suite. He walked in wearing his Mets cap and greeted me by name.

Just got out of the shower. Rainy day here so no yard work. A chill day with the dog.

Aaaaaaaand we're off!!!

It's already weird.

I was on Allwood Road in Clifton this morning and this lady stopped her car at the bus stop but not at the light and everything was fine because I had plenty of time, space and warning. I went into the next lane and slowed up at the stopped car to find a young girl lying face down in the street, clothed on top and just in her underwear on the bottom. There were ladies all around her with their cellphones out so I didn't stop to help but I really don't think she got hit. It felt like someone left her there. I can't find anything on local news yet.

I can only pray she lives through whatever happened but who knows how long she was there. I hope she's ok.

You have my sympathies. Been meaning to watch the show-made it up to the second season but it's a mind twist! Really blows to not have that final season as they were pushing for a fifth. I read on here that the finale of season 4 could act as the end but still a lot of holes to fill. Perhaps they'll get a movie similiar to how they treated Deadwood.

Watching The White Lotus at the moment and drinking some Mountain Dew. Long day.

No dead bodies this morning, soooooo....that's a start

RAW was dull for me last night but I really liked the IO vs. Asuka promo in the ring and they tied up the Austin Theory Money In The Bank storyline very nicely.

Oh wow, it's BestBuy day!!!! Maybe I'll finally buy 8-Mile.

Finished up some leaf blowing. It's taking forever because I have several acres and my batteries only last about 10 mins on full blast.

This time change still has me all ...not even 5 yet but it feels like 7:30 lol
