Air frying some chicken wings and checking the weather for NY for next weekend. It's a bit early for a definite forecast but hopefully I can get a good idea what I'll be driving into on Christmas Eve. At least I convinced my Ex to let me keep our daughter here until then, she wanted me to drive our daughter up to her grandparents' in Pennsylvania on Monday.

My shoulder has been killing me the past few days and the pain seems to come and go but it’s not fun. Pushing through at the moment and I don’t think it’s a dislocation.

Meanwhile…my microwave has been acting up and sometimes will not start. This has happened before. Tore it apart and there was a bad relay/microswitch so I replaced it and she’s back to working as normal. Decided to clean the microwave as well. Crazy how dirty they can get.

Just finished up Avatar so I’m all ready for The Way of Water which I should be watching tomorrow.

Currently watching Highlander and it looks really good. Audio could be better though. Reminds me of a Disney release lol.

First six months/180 days I think, you can request to be discharged, get what's called an "entry-level separation"/uncharacterized discharge.

Having some coffee and gonna get dressed to quickly run to the store for some ingredients for my late wife's infamous Christmas cookies. I've never made them before so I'm a bit nervous, all I know is they have eggnog and rum and taste so good. Hopefully I don't screw them up. I was invited to a work Christmas party tonight, but I'm not sure if I'm going to attend.

Hazleton area. Fortunately she's staying put this week, as I'll be driving up to NY on Christmas Eve anyway. I'll leave it up to her if she wants to spend Christmas with her mom's parents or stay with me & spend Christmas in NY with my family. The Ex isn't on board with that as she really wants our daughter to spend time with her parents but oh well.

Yeah that must be something new. I never heard of it myself, was in from 2008 until I was medically discharged in late 2011. I basically had to get profiled out to get out, looking back I wish I just kept lying about my body ailments and just stayed in but who knows I was getting very addicted to max strength Motrin for the pain so I probably wouldn't be here today if I did that.

I dated a girl from Hazleton for a while. I'm just north of Scranton.

Just got home. I was at the stealership getting some car work done which turned into a dumpster fire 'cause of all the things they "find" and try to get more $ out of you. $120 to replace cabin and air filters! ..takes me about 5 mins to do that and $25.

Was planning to hit Cinemark on the way home to watch Avatar and even though I had a rough morning, I pushed through and went and saw it. I thought it was fine, but not great. It was nice to be back in the world of Pandora but it didn't give me the same rush that Top Gun: Maverick did-which is still the best film of the year for me. The water portion of the film is just breathtakingly beautiful. 8/10 for me.
