Coffee and tunes this morning. Ah, a typical weekday morning. My brother arrived late last night, he decided to get a hotel room for the night instead of staying here so I think I'll head over there to see him. My Ex and our daughter is expected sometime this afternoon.

Did not expect to receive a check in the mail today from the Takata airbag class action lawsuit. It was about $100! Only took 4 years..heh. I was expecting .35 so definitely a surprise.

That's legit like the biggest check I've ever heard of from a settlement of that nature.

Right! I could not believe it tbh and it was super unexpected as I completely forgot I even filled out the form. It’s all coming back to me now though. I remember thinking “this is a waste of time..I’m not gonna get anything” as I was completing the form, but here we are!

Drinking some coffee and finishing this YouTube video. My daughter finally got here this morning, her mother just dumped her off without saying anything to me which is truly unusual for her but I get it, it was a long drive from Washington to Kentucky and she's still got about 600 miles to go to get to her parents' house in Pennsylvania. Anyway the kiddo's currently passed out on the couch, so I guess I'll finish getting "her room" set up here and try to figure out what we're going to do later. Guessing at some point she'll have to get up and do her schoolwork (she's remote for the rest of the school year)

Finishing this cup of coffee and re-watching Wednesday on Netflix with the kiddo. We were invited to a birthday celebration of a long-lost relative in Nashville tonight, but I don't think she'll feel up to going to that since she likely won't know anyone attending and I don't think there will be other kids her age, besides she's already had a long week.
