Hit up a few car dealers today and made my way over to Chili's where I had lunch and did my anger management class. I'm finishing my cheesecake and then I'm going to walk home and pick out tonight's movie. Not sure what I'll watch yet. Not even sure what genre I'll go with.

We're wrapping up the last half hour at work.

I CAN....NOT.....BELIEVE it's going to be Thursday tomorrow...again.

I tried the first 45 minutes of Venom III last night and it was laughably bad. I'm going to try and power through the rest later.

A balmy 23 degrees here this morning as I get ready for another trip to the hospital in St. Louis. I will be spending 5 hours hooked to an IV in my experimental monoclonal antibody drug trial. Add-in the 5 hours of round trip travel time and it makes for a very long day.

I will be in a drug induced fog for much of that time. Thank God I have a friend that drives me to all of these long distance appointments.

Update on my weight training...been a little over 7 weeks now. Post above was from November 18. Gained 20 lbs so far (my target is 40). Friends have all told me they can definitely see a difference, especially my upper body (which I have been focusing on). My girlfriend said she loves the transformation and is especially happy. Not bad for a 57 year old single father.

Another update....its now a little over 10 weeks....I have gained 25 lbs total, so only need another 15 to hit my target of 40.

I keep forgetting that some people find it hard to gain weight. I've always been heavy, but I felt my best physically & mentally when I was 140-145lbs while i was in the Army, living on post without a car. I only wish I had that discipline in my life today as I creep back into the 200s. Hard to believe that was only like 15years ago 😕

I was in the Army (85'-88') I weighed only around 150 myself, lived on post and no car (Ft. Hood). Thank you for your service.

Right now, I am trying to gain muscle, not just weight. I started on November 11th, weighing only 144 (I have been a runner for the last 15 years). Decided it was time to change my lifestyle and body, so I joined a gym, eat 4,000 calories a day (at least 125g of protein a day), take a creatine supplement and hit the gym for weight training 4-5 days a week. So, the 25 lbs I gained in 10+ weeks have been done the right way...my waist size is the same, but my body has definitely changed. I am very encouraged that I have been able to do this considering I am 57 years old.

Happy Friday everyone, unless you're like me and work weekends then well, it's still Friday I guess.

Day one of my first 48hr fast, I'm also trying to curb my caffeine addiction so here it is 1PM and I've already drank a little over a gallon of water. I'm sure I'm glutton for punishment but hey, I've done much put my body through worse in the past.

Blew out my logistics shift today at almost a 24 stops per hour clip and followed it up with a posting spree. Time to go home and play a bit more FF VIII before bed.

Woke up this morning to multiple texts from my kid, she was in the ER with a broken arm. Of course neither her or her mom would tell me what happened. I need to pull my head out of my a$$ and move back home, this is getting ridiculous. What the hell am I even doing with my life?

Went to a KFC not too far from my apartment. I hadn't been there before and while I've been by it several times on the bus, and probably noticed it, I didn't think that I had one so close. Anyway, I got their $5 deal with two drumsticks, a side of mashed potatoes and a biscuit. I ordered a large drink and he offered to sell me one of their dessert cakes and give me the large soda for free as it would save a little money. Good deal so I took it and the cake was better than I expected. I ended up getting one more of the deals as I love my KFC drumsticks

Now at about 3:25pm, I'm going to wind down soon to get some rest before work.

I did KFC on Thursday and tried one of their $5 bowls. Went with the Nashville hot one that comes with French fries topped with the chicken and Cole slaw. Also pickles but they were missing. The bowl is a sloppy mess and I would not recommend. Not even close to what’s pictured.



Debating if I should get this or not.



“Limited” definitely pushes the FOMO buttons. Price has not gone below $200. It’s in the original aspect ratio of 1:33 which is unique as so many TV shows end up cropped. Even the Netflix broadcast is cropped. Sony oddly released the Blu-ray but it’s in 1:78 which means if you want the uncropped version, you’ve gotta spring for the more expensive 4K.

I was wondering if they still had their 8 drumsticks for $10 and I was quite happy to see that they do but it's only available on Tuesdays.

I've probably caught part of an episode here or there but have never watched the show. EZ Pass for me but this isn't me so yes, yes you should buy it. You buy your $215 Seinfeld set and I'll buy my $202 Patagonia hoody or $143 Patagonia jacket. Or shit, maybe you can just buy us both and I'll get you a Starbucks next time I see you
