Setting Up My Laserdisc Player

Just got home from work, been a long last couple days. Ended up getting no sleep last night since the kid came down with a fever, which resulted in a morning ER run for antibiotics. She tested positive for Lyme disease so we've got that to worry about now. Her immune system just can't seem to catch a break, first it was covid multiple times then pneumonia twice and now this.
Oh, and if that wasn't enough I also got my first HR report at work tonight. Apparently I was found "offensively intimidating" for simply clocking in, and doing my job. I love how that was even possible. They've got me on "safety watch" for the next 90 days hoping I slip up, all because I tend to keep to myself at work. I told my direct supervisor that I was going to start staggering my breaks and my production numbers will drop while they do their investigation, I don't plan on making it easy for them to terminate me just because a couple slackers don't like me.

Also, I think if your daughter never tested for Lyme disease before, she could have had it for some time? I think this happened to Avril Lavigne where the doctors tested for everything *but* Lyme disease, and it turned out she had Lyme disease. (I looked it up, you can have Lyme disease for several years but if never diagnosed and tested it can be a bit of a perplexing thing to doctors.)

Sorry for all your troubles. Hopefully the antibiotics will help your daughter. Since I’m in the woods, it’s pretty standard to get tested for Lyme disease now. My dog brought in so many ticks, it was crazy. How did the surgery go with your mom?

Am off work until Tuesday, so ran by the liquor store to stock up for the long weekend and go figure, the holiday stupidity has already started...drove by a fresh accident on the way back home.

Enjoy the break, and Happy 4th! I'm on PTO until Monday as of yesterday Took the wife to the movies yesterday, had a blast, early matinee. No idiots using cell phones!

Waiting on the useless USPS to get around to delivering the mail so I can bust out of this joint for the weekend. It always figures that when I can leave early (after checking the mail) that the mailman would run late. Watch this greaser not get here until 3:00/3:30 pm. Well, I've got news for everybody. I ain't hanging around that long. I can't. Movie night's tonight and I've got to finish cleaning house. On top of ordering the pizza. I can't be leaving work at no 4:00 to try and get all that done. Besides, tonight's special. It's a triple feature night. So, I have to be ready with everything as soon as they get to my house.
