That used to be my jam back when I was into bodybuilding. Packed on some pounds lol. Can't do that today. All that freakin' sodium just from one sammich
LOL. Back when I was a gym rat the dude I’d work out with was nuts and always wanted to hit Arby’s for their 5$ deal after. Great way to cancel out what I just did.

I'm not much a Starbucks fan, I don't really consider what they serve coffee. And I mean the hot stuff only. But they do make a good Americano so if I have to go I get that. The refreshers are pretty good, too.

I am the same way with the guy you knew. Can't stand coffee or hot drinks. Unless it is a a room temperature soda. You'll be happy to know that Coke is doing away with artificial sweeteners, as they're switching to real cane sugar.

In your case, I would say: its not the years, it’s the mileage.

You also look nowhere near your age, so you’ve got that going for ya.

If that's the case then he's due for the scrap heap. Cause he's got more miles on him than Madonna.

I look nowhere near my age. I mean NOWHERE near. Got most people, Fors* included, beat on that. Though Fors* does give me a run for my money.

Yeah different mind-set back when I was doing it, eat everything in sight to gain the pounds and then trim it down. Today's gym crowd is all about eating clean, and for the better.

Funny story I just remembered on those sammiches. I used to work graveyard back in the late 90s, and on Fridays I would stop for the 5 for $5 on the way to work. I had a modded Mustang GT SN95 back then, and one night I pulled out of the Arby's lot and had a Camaro and Dodge Ram dragging and almost ran me over. I caught them at the next light, which incidentally was 3 lanes and lucked out they were lined up and 3rd lane was open. Got a good jump off the line and managed to get a car length before I backed off at about 65 mph (normally I don't like street racing, but made an exception this time since it was late and the roads were clear). The Camaro kept going and blew by me. Moments later a cop blew by me as well going after the Camaro lol. I'm sure the cop saw all of us but only went after the Camaro at that point.

I’m not anymore. Pretty much how I roll these days.

I was watching a Disney resort vlog (shoutout to fight) recently as I’m trying to narrow down where to stay in October. The vlogger got to the fitness room and you could see a few people working out. She was like “people working out on Vacation..good for them” and I cracked up considering the amount of walking you do in the parks, you really don’t need to hit the gym at Disney. Most resorts on property don’t even have ‘em.

That’s a wild one and you def got lucky. Cops are known to pull over multiple vehicles at a time but I’m still trying to figure out how they do it lol.

Do they tell the first car to stay put while they chase the other car(s)? I guess since they’ve got their plate, it would be foolish to drive off plus the dash and body cameras.

Can't really do the sugar, either. The carbonation messes with me too, in excess. But I've never had much a sweet tooth, either, and rarely ever drank soda.

But I do make an exception for ice cream . Never trust a man who doesn't like ice cream.

I've seen that happen, or at least saw them pulled over after the fact so I don't know how they do it either. I'd guess they get ahead if/when the racers slow down from the siren, and then the cop weaves across lanes while slowing down and bringing them to a stop?

In my case, I think he decided to pass on me since I backed off, and I seem to recall the RAM backing off, too. But that Camaro man, it was driving angry lol.

I feel like Coke released the cane sugar recipe maybe 10 years ago as a limited thing. Can’t recall if I had one or not.

I gained the 40 pounds I wanted (in 9 months, I am now at 184 at age 57)....so I am now on maintenance....which is just about eating the right foods consistently IMO. But ice cream is my one cheat food....love me some orange creamsicle ice cream!

Mileage might be considered low since I have never been sick a day in my life. I am just one of those lucky ones I guess.

I stopped drinking Soda in early January (full cold turkey) - which was HUGE for me, as that's pretty much all I ever drank. That was my biggest weakness. I went months without, without issue. But then one weekend I grabbed a 20oz, which was fine, but now I find myself right back at the store buying more of them. And fast food is another weakness. Sigh.

Browsing YouTube - there's... a band? called Moonlight, and they add their fun, upbeat sound over existing classic songs. They're really good.

I'm sure that has contributed to your gains at that age, which is an awesome feat! I've trained with and trained kids in their 20s who did everything right and couldn't gain a pound.

Maybe you're just that guy...

I have the opposite problem, probably too many miles in the gym from training heavy from my late teens until my early 50s (55 next Thurs). I can't do that anymore with exception to partial deadlifts (or rack pulls I guess they call it now), which I can still load up the bar. The joints are otherwise squeakin' lol. But fortunately I can still train moderately.

And now I'm gonna have to watch that movie. Bought it I think a couple of years ago on UHD and it hasn't made it out of the case.

I dont remember coke ever doing it besides the Mexican glass bottle kind they sell at most grocery stores, but the stuff is like 6 bucks for 4 bottles. Pepsi I know released a cane sugar version that has stuck for the last half decade or so.

Just got an iced Americano with a splash of heavy cream. I usually get it with half n half but it is Friday so I threw caution to the wind and I’m living on the razors edge, baby. Now I’m waiting in line at Sam’s for gas. Busy today. Might even go inside and grab some spirits for the weekend. Boo!👻
